The former couple welcomed their first baby together - MGK's second child, and Megan's fourth - on March 27.

The rapper, real name Colson Baker, shared the news of her birth by posting a sweet black and white video of him holding her tiny hands.

He wrote alongside it: "she’s finally here!! our little celestial seed. 3/27/25."

Understandably, some fans were left scratching their heads, believing that the couple - who are known for outlandish publicity stunts - may have called their baby "Celestial Seed".

They commented: "Not me wondering if they named her celestial seed," and: "Awh little Celestial Seed."

Others added: "Celestial is already a star, what a blessed name she has. She is going to be so loved. Sending you and Mama Megan stars and flowers and love love love," and: "I really hope that's not her name."

Thankfully, MGK took to Instagram to confirm that "Celestial Seed" isn't actually the baby's name - however unique it may be if it was.

He shared a screenshot of a TikTok post about it, writing: "Wait guys… her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’", along with a laughing emoji.

MGK then confirmed: "Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we're ready."

The 34-year-old musician and the 38-year-old actress split shortly after they announced they were expecting their first child together in November last year, having formerly been engaged.

The ex-couple's birth announcement also ended up reigniting the feud between MGK and Megan's former husband, Brian Austin Green, 51, whom she was with for over 15 years and shares three sons with.

Brian took to his Instagram story to reveal that the rapper had sent him a blunt DM before the latest baby was born.

In the DM, MGK wrote: "Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. you the FEDS.

"Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking my name in public.”

The 'Bad Things' singer didn’t stop there, adding: “You chose the wrong one to f*** with mr child actor. go back to cereal commercials."

Brian clapped back by reposting the exchange with a caption filled with laughing emojis: “I didn’t know ‘child actor’ was something bad.” He followed it up with a jab aimed at Leonardo DiCaprio: “Leo, careful,” he said. “He may be coming for you next.”

His partner, Sharna Burgess, also reacted to MGK's fiery DM with a statement on her Instagram Story, which read: "When kids are in a split household the greatest thing we can do is make them love and feel safe in both homes, like both homes are also friends and share love and communication.

"We work to always keep our language and experiences positive, and when talking about their other home we always talk about it with love and support," she continued. "A successful co-parenting relationship starts with communication and respect."

She went on to say that Brian's kids with Megan were very excited for their mom to welcome another baby and had been continually asking them when she will arrive.

"Our kids are so excited about the arrival of their baby sister, and we are excited FOR them," the Dancing with the Stars pro said. "They have been asking us nearly every day of her arrival for about a month now. Naturally when they ask us to find out how mama is doing, we say no problem and do just that.

"Being a step parent requires (among other things) selflessness, empathy, loyalty, honesty, an open heart and patience," Sharna said. "If these are not qualities you consider yourself to have or be able to develop, than [sic] you should ask yourself if you deserve to be in their lives. Because they deserve the absolute best."

As well as the new arrival, MGK has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex.

Megan, meanwhile, has three sons with Brian - Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 11, and Journey River, eight.
