Machine Gun Kelly is changing the title of his upcoming album - much to the disbelief of his friend Travis Barker.
Back in August, 31-year-old MGK and 46-year-old Barker got matching tattoos on their left forearms.
The Blink-182 drummer is working as the executive producer on MGK's upcoming album, and therefore decided to join him in getting the title inked on his skin - as a way to commemorate their collaboration.
Sharing a video of the pair showing off their matching tattoos, MGK wrote to his Instagram followers at the time: "'Born with horns' the album. We're back for round two..."
However, it would appear as if the rapper had a change of heart on the original name, and has opted against the 'born with horns' title.
Instead, the upcoming album will be called Mainstream Sellout. A decent title - however, that still left the awkward job of letting Barker know the news.
Well, seeing as it is his album, MGK - real name Colson Baker - decided it was only fair to break the news to Barker himself.
Check out Barker finding out about the title change in the TikTok below:In a new TikTok video, MGK sits down with Barker, before saying: "Okay, we're friends no matter what, right?"
To which Barker replies: "Of course."
After a friendly fist bump, MGK then says: "Remember when, uh... remember when we got the album name, the new album name tattooed on our arms?"
Realizing what MGK is about to tell him, Barker starts to laugh, and can be heard saying: "You're changing..."
"I'm changing the album name," MGK says, as the pair continues to laugh together.
In less than 24 hours, the video has been viewed more than 7.2 million times on the social media platform and received over 4,000 comments from fans praising the duo's "sweet" and "adorable" friendship.
In an interview with NME, MGK says the upcoming album will be "more guitar-heavy" and feature "deeper" lyrics than his previous releases.
Every album is a juxtaposition of the last album. So I went and studied [Tickets To My Downfall], and I heard the bright sound that I had, and for this album I just turned the lights off," the rapper added.
An official release date for the album has yet to be announced.
