Matthew Perry revealed his favorite Chandler joke a decade after Friends concluded, and it's one that may have gone over our heads at the time!

The entertainment world is mourning the loss of a beloved icon, as Perry, best known for his portrayal of Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom Friends, tragically passed away at the age of 54.

The news was confirmed by law enforcement officials, as reported by BBC News.

While he portrayed Chandler with his trademark dry wit and one-liners, Perry himself had a favorite joke from the show that he cherished. In a 2017 episode of Good Morning America, Perry was asked to choose his standout moment from Friends.

Watch Perry reveal his favorite Friends line:

His pick came from the episode titled 'The One with Ross' New Girlfriend,' the season two premiere that originally aired in September 1995.

In this classic moment, Joey Tribbiani, played by Matt LeBlanc, shares a story about his family tailor, saying: "He did my first suit when I was 15."

He quickly corrects himself, saying: "No, wait – 16." And then: "No, excuse me – 15." Finally, he asks: "Wait, when was 1990?"

Chandler, with his patience clearly wearing thin, retorts: "OK, you have to stop the Q-tip when there's resistance!"

The use of a Q-tip, or cotton bud, to clean one's ears is a common practice, though not recommended by many medical professionals. The witty exchange was a quintessential example of the humor that endeared Chandler to millions of fans.

Reflecting on the moment in the studio, Perry openly admitted that he "misses" the show, a sentiment shared by fans around the world.

Friends, created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, ran for a decade, from 1994 to 2004, spanning ten successful seasons. The show catapulted Perry and his co-stars, including Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow, to worldwide stardom.

At the height of their fame, they were among the highest-paid actors on television, earning millions for each episode.

The series allowed audiences to watch the characters grow and evolve over the years, creating a special place in the hearts of viewers. Perry's untimely passing has deeply affected fans worldwide, as he brought laughter and joy to millions.

Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him, and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."

Our thoughts continue to be with Perry's loved ones.
