If there's one celebrity out there who knows a lot about media intrusion, it's Megan Fox. The actress first came to the public's attention after the release of Michael Bay's first movie in the gigantic Transformers franchise, but she soon learned that fame was something of a double-edged sword. Back then, Megan was shy and insecure, and certainly didn't enjoy being touted as a role model, and was often typecast as a sex symbol thanks to her stunning looks. Many accused her of overexposing herself, although by that point it was impossible for her to control the public's perception of her image.

But one of the biggest controversies of Fox's career was her rumoured relationship with her Transformers co-star Shia LaBeouf. Many people who watched the film at the time of its release felt as though the two actors had a chemistry that wasn't just a performance, and now, to the shock of many, Fox has actually confirmed what we all suspected all along: her and Shia really were romantically attached!

In a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen this week, Megan participated in a game called: 'Plead the Fifth', where contestants are only allowed to not one question asked by the interviewer. Megan stated that Shia and she had indeed had a romantic relationship with Shia, stating: "I mean, I would confirm it was romantic. I love him. I've never been really private about that. I love him."
Her comments seem to corroborate claims Shia made in an interview back in 2011, in which he explicitly stated: "Look, you're on the set for six months with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them ... I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry on screen."

Megan was also candid about its infamously-testy relationship with director Michael Bay, stating: "He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward."

Fox was fired from the Transformer movies after making comments in an interview with Wonderland Magazine in which she compared Bay to Hitler. As a result of this, three anonymous crew members wrote a letter to the press in which they defended Bay, and accused her of acting inappropriately during filming. Bay for his part was forgiving of Fox, and stated that he thought that "her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm." Fox herself called this incident "the low point" of her career.

Megan Fox has revealed that she was "in love" with Shia LaBeouf and opened up about the details of their romantic relationship on the set of Transformers.

Fox Reveals She Was In Love With Her Co-Star

In a candid 2018 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Jennifer's Body star confirmed the romantic nature of her relationship with LaBeouf when host Andy Cohen asked if his 2011 interview with Details magazine, in which LaBeouf admitted to their fling, was accurate.

"Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them," the actor said at the time.

"I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen," he added.

In response to his comments, Fox told Cohen: "I mean, I would confirm that it was romantic...I love him, I have never been really quiet about that, I love him."

When the host asked if it was just an on-set romance that didn't continue after filming, she replied, "Yeah."

The pair's relationship ultimately didn’t last, as the now-39-year-old actress married Brian Austin Green in June 2010.

Fox and Green share three children: Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom, and Journey River Green, but they parted ways in 2020.

Following the split, Fox went on to date musician Machine Gun Kelly, and although the two were previously engaged, they eventually separated but welcomed a fourth child.

Despite no longer being romantically involved, MGK has often spoken about the role the actress still plays in his life.

"It truly was an epic story of love, pain, and a lot of magic," he said during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. "I had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest partner to have had a child with."

Meanwhile, LaBeouf married actress Mia Goth in 2016, but they separated and filed for divorce two years later.

In February 2022, reports surfaced that they had reconciled, and the British actress was expecting their first child, who was born in March 2022.

LaBeouf credited Goth with saving his life during a difficult time, saying: "She was present for me when I didn’t deserve to have anybody in my life, especially her... She gave me hope when I was really running on fumes."

"It's the first time I ever really understood love, because I didn't have nothing to give," he added.

However, the couple's reunion was short-lived, and they broke up again in 2025.

Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have reportedly welcomed their first child together.

According to People, LaBeouf, 35, and Goth, 28, were seen walking in Pasadena, California, on Friday pushing a stroller with a baby inside. It is unclear when the baby was born and whether the pair welcomed a baby boy or girl.

There was speculation earlier this year that Goth was pregnant when, in February, she was seen running errands while sporting a baby bump in a white long-sleeve shirt that showed off the bottom of her stomach.

Neither of the actors' reps has confirmed the news.

LaBeouf and Goth became romantically linked after the pair filmed Nymphomaniac: Vol. II together in 2012. Goth would later appear in a music video that LaBeouf directed in 2014.

The two tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in October 2016, and in an interview with Ellen Degeneres on her talk show, the Transformers star spoke about being a married man.

"The plan was for it to be a private deal," he said. "Part of the package, the King Tut package, you get a live stream for free."

Two years after their wedding, they filed for divorce, with a rep telling Page Six at the time: “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable, and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”

In March 2020, they appeared to rekindle their relationship after they were spotted wearing wedding rings while on a bike ride together.

Last year, LaBeouf became the center of a lawsuit, with his former girlfriend and singer FKA Twigs accusing the actor of sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress.

She said in court documents obtained by Variety that she had suffered mental and physical abuse during their nine-month relationship. The musician also alleged that he knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease, strangled her, and kept her in a constant state of fear.

"Shia LaBeouf hurts women," the lawsuit states. "He uses them. He abuses them, both physically and mentally. He is dangerous."

The order stems from an alleged altercation between himself and a man named Tyler Murphy last summer in Los Angeles.

LaBeouf's lawyers have denied all of the allegations in the lawsuit.

Megan Fox rose to fame after playing Shia LaBeouf's love interest in the blockbuster film Transformers. Over the past twelve years, she hasn't changed that much, retaining her signature long brown hair. However, the 32-year-old actress switched things up for a new role, playing US war correspondent Marguerite Higgins in the movie Jangsa-ri 9.15. The brunette was spotted on set rocking a blond bob wig, transforming her (GET IT?!?!?!) from a sultry centerfold into a mom who better not find any magazines with centerfolds in your room, young man.

Marguerite Higgins reported for the New York Herald Tribune during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. At the time, some generals believed women had no business on the military front, and refused to make separate accommodations for them. However, Higgins succeeded in persuading officers to grant equal access to female war correspondents, a major breakthrough. In 1951, she became the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for Foreign Correspondence, thanks to her book, War In Korea: The Report Of A Woman Combat Correspondent.

Jangsa-ri 9.15 will tell the story of the Jangsa landing operation, a key part of the Battle of Incheon during the Korean War in 1950. Commanded by US General Douglas McArthur, United Nations and South Korean forces were able to recapture the South Korean city of Seoul two weeks later. And you know Megan Fox will be perfect for this role, because she already has experience playing a journalist, Channel 6's April O'Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

South Korean production house Taewon Entertainment is producing the film, which also stars veteran Korean actor Korean actor Kim Myung-min and rapper-turned-actor Choi Min-ho of the K-pop boy band Shinee. A spokesperson for the company told Variety, "Fox is very passionate about her role and has spent time studying Higgins and preparing visual concepts."

During an interview with The New York Times, Megan Fox explained why she wanted to play Marguerite Higgins. "They brought it to me, and I was like, 'Are you sure I’m the right person to cast for this?' [Laughs] I usually get offered the mean girl, the evil queen, the stripper, the prostitute with a heart of gold. But it’s something fresh, it’s something that’s unpredictable, and that is exciting."

And also, you got to go blond!

Shia LaBeouf has opened up about the serious allegations against him for the first time.

Speaking to Jon Bernthal's Real Ones podcast on Friday, LaBeouf discussed shame, guilt, and hitting "rock bottom" - as well as saying that he has "cheat[ed] on every woman I've ever been with," and not informed his sexual partners about cold sores.

This candid discussion comes after his ex-girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs, went public with disturbing allegations against LaBeouf - including sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress, per VT.

Initially, LaBeouf denied all of FKA Twig's allegations against him, saying he did not cause her "any injury or loss," and that she was not "entitled to any relief or damages whatsoever," per the Independent.

Despite not naming FKA Twigs (whose real name is Tahliah Barnett) LaBeouf told Benthal: "I hurt that woman. And in the process of doing that, I hurt many other people, and many other people before that woman."

"I was a pleasure-seeking, selfish, self-centered, dishonest, inconsiderate, fearful human being," he continued, before stating: "I f***ed up bad. Like crash and burn type s***. I hurt a lot of people, and I'm fully aware of that. And I'm going to owe for the rest of my life."

Referring to what he sees for the future, LaBeouf stated that he hopes to be "useful," revealing: "When I think about what my life has become, and what it is now, like what my purpose is now… I need to be useful."

The Even Stevens actor also referred to the popularity of the #MeToo movement, stating that "not a whole lot of dudes" are taking accountability for their behavior against women.

It seems the actor, 36, has had a change of heart during the past few years, as he now seems to refer to FKA Twigs as a "saint" who "saved my life."

He continued: "Had she not intervened in my life and not created the avenue for me to experience ego death, I'd either have a really mediocre existence or I'd be dead in full."

The actor, who was raised with both Jewish and Christian traditions, has recently rediscovered his Catholic faith in the wake of the accusations.

Earlier this month, LaBeouf sat down with Bishop Barron on his Bishop Barron Presents series to discuss how his newfound faith has helped him.

"It was seeing other people who have sinned beyond anything I could ever conceptualize also being found in Christ that made me feel like, 'Oh, that gives me hope,' " he stated. "I started hearing experiences of other depraved people who had found their way — in this — and it made me feel like I had permission."

During the conversation, LaBeouf revealed that he had even contemplated suicide: "I had a gun on the table. I was outta here."

He continued: "I didn't want to be alive anymore when all this happened. Shame like I had never experienced before — the kind of shame that you forget how to breathe. You don't know where to go. You can't go outside and get like, a taco [...] But I was also in this deep desire to hold on."
