Mia Malkova recalls 'most awkward' scene after being shocked by co-star's size
Adult film actress Mia Malkova has recalled one of the most awkward moments of her career after turning up to a shoot early in her time in the industry and being completely caught off guard by her co-star's size.
Malkova, 33, who has been one of the most recognised names in adult entertainment since winning the AVN Award for Best New Starlet in 2014, said she could not take the scene seriously and spent most of it trying not to laugh while looking around the room to see if anyone else was thinking the same thing.
"I was like unfortunately laughing at him and I couldn't stop laughing," she said.
"And I was like looking around the crew, like... he's so tiny."
What she described
Malkova said she arrived on set expecting a normal shoot.
When she saw her co-star for the first time, she was genuinely shocked by what she was looking at and admitted the professionalism went out the window almost immediately.
She said she hated the experience.
Not because anything went wrong in terms of how she was treated, but because she could not keep a straight face and felt guilty about it.
She described looking over at the crew behind the cameras to see if they were reacting the same way she was.
It was, by her own account, one of the most uncomfortable shoots of her early career and one she has not forgotten.
The reaction online
The clip has gone viral after being shared on X, with millions of views across multiple reposts. The comments are roughly what you would expect.
A lot of men in the replies were making jokes, but a lot of other men in the replies were clearly not finding it funny at all.
The responses split roughly down the middle between people who thought it was a hilarious story and people who said it was cruel to publicly humiliate someone for something they cannot control.
Others pointed out the double standard.
If a male performer had gone on a podcast and laughed about a female co-star's body, the reaction would have been very different.
That argument gained traction quickly, though it did not slow down the people sharing the clip with crying-laughing emojis.
For what it's worth, a urologist who has examined thousands of penises recently said only 2.28% of men are medically small, with the US average sitting at 5.35 inches.
A survey of over 1,000 women found that two-thirds would be unsatisfied below four inches, but that anything over nine was considered too large.

Who is Mia Malkova?
Malkova was born in Palm Springs, California, in 1992. She worked at McDonald's from 16 and then at a Sizzler restaurant until the weekend she filmed her first scene.
She entered the adult industry in 2012 and quickly became one of its biggest names.
She won the AVN Best New Starlet award in 2014 and the XBIZ Best Actress award in 2017. She retired from performing in adult films in 2021 and has since moved into streaming on Twitch, content creation on OnlyFans, and podcast appearances.
Her transition out of the industry has been smoother than most. Mia Khalifa has spoken about how difficult life after adult film can be, revealing she made just $12,000 total from a career whose videos generated billions of views.
She was left in tears after a fan's girlfriend made a joke about her past in front of her.
She has over 4 million followers on Instagram and runs her own production company, Malkova Entertainment, which she launched in 2019.
She did not name the co-star in question. Given the reaction the clip has had without a name attached, that is probably for the best.
