Paris Hilton has revealed that she thought she was asexual prior to meeting her now-husband, Carter Reum.
In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, which features the Hilton heiress on the cover of the magazine's March 2023 issue, the 42-year-old spoke about life in her early 20s.
She said she had considered that she might be asexual, which refers to an individual who does not experience sexual attraction to others. Despite being in relationships throughout her 20s and 30s, she said she consistently had these thoughts about her sexuality.

"I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me," she told the outlet. "I called myself the ‘kissing bandit’ because I only liked to make out. A lot of my relationships didn’t work out because of that."
The Simple Life alum - whose interview was released on Thursday - posed for the magazine to promote her new self-titled autobiography, which will be available to buy on March 14.
The DJ went on to say that her attitude toward sex changed after she met Reum in 2019.
"It wasn’t until Carter that I finally am not that way," Hilton continued. "I enjoy hooking up with my husband."
Praising their relationship, she added: "I just feel like after all the hell I’ve been through, I’m finally getting what I deserve, which is someone I can trust and someone to build a real life with."

She recalled how she met Reum at a Thanksgiving dinner in Long Island, stating that he was different from the men she had gone out with previously.
"He’s not famous. He’s smart. He comes from a nice family. He’s a good person." she said. "It was the opposite of what I had been used to when I was looking for guys."
Hilton and Reum began dating in 2019 and tied the knot in 2021. Earlier this year, the pair welcomed their first child together, via surrogate.
The socialite revealed the exciting news in an Instagram post on January 25.
Accompanying a picture of her baby boy's fingers wrapped around hers, Hilton wrote: "You are already loved beyond words," with a blue heart emoji.
The post has since racked up more than 2.5 million likes.
Last year, the reality star alleged that she was subjected to "internal exams" from male staff in the middle of the night when she was at boarding school in Utah.
