It's that time of year again; when Piers Morgan is forced to deny the claims that he is the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2.
Christmas is a time when people gather around to watch their favorite festive flicks, and the Home Alone movies inevitably make an appearance at some point.
After not learning their lessons from the first movie, Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) finds himself lost in New York City after boarding a different flight from his parents.
For those who have been to New York, you'll know that it can be a bit overwhelming at the best of times, let alone for a child lost without their family.
But then again, this is Kevin.
As he navigates Central Park, he comes across a flock of pigeons and soon realizes that one of them is sitting upon a woman's head. Despite initially being intimidated by the pigeon lady, the two soon become friends.
Spoiler alert, she ends up saving Kevin after he gets captured by the Wet Bandits and they are seemingly about to shoot him.
But what does any of this have to do with the British broadcaster Piers Morgan? Well, he strikes quite the resemblance with the pigeon lady.
During a 2020 episode of the British breakfast show Good Morning Britain, Morgan's co-host Susanna Reid brought up the topic to which the host replied: "Why does this keep coming around? That is not me. I am not the bag lady in Home Alone 2."
Still, this hasn't stopped people from making the comparison and this year was no exception as Morgan was forced to take to social media to deny it, simply stating: "It’s. Not. Me."
Despite his protests, this didn't stop people from flocking to the comments to disagree with him and to state that he clearly did star in the movie.
"The resemblance is very uncanny," one person penned, while a second added: "Never seen you in the same room, Piers, just saying."
One person even went as far as to start a poll asking X users what they thought, and at the time of writing, a landslide 73.2 percent of people say that they believe the pigeon lady is played by Piers Morgan.
The pigeon lady was played by Irish actor Brenda Fricker, but reminding Morgan of the resemblance every Christmas has turned into a bit of a tradition that we should keep going as long as possible.
If you did watch Home Alone 2 this Christmas, you may not have seen Piers Morgan, but Donald Trump makes an appearance.
