Restraining order filed against Love Island USA star after 'terrifying' threat
Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa is facing serious allegations after a temporary restraining order was filed against her by her boyfriend Louis Russell’s ex-girlfriend.
Nicole Olivera, the mother of Russell’s child, filed the order on March 12, accusing Mustafa of breaking into her home and making alarming threats involving both herself and her young son, per Page Six.
According to court documents, the situation escalated after the 25-year-old allegedly flew into Los Angeles from North Carolina and began sending distressing messages.
Alleged Threats and Late-Night Incident
Olivera claimed that on February 20, Mustafa, who rose to fame on Season 7 of Love Island USA in 2025 before later going public with Russell, "threatened to jump off buildings, swearing on her daughter’s life that she was going to kill herself".
She further alleged that the reality TV star spent 12 hours making "terrifying and extremely mentally unstable threats" against her and her one-year-old son, Luka-Kai.
The following morning, at around 1:30AM on February 21, Olivera says Mustafa arrived uninvited at her LA home.
She alleged that Mustafa took an Uber to the property and forced her way into the building while "threatening to knock down our doors."
Olivera, Russell, and their son were all inside at the time, and police were called to the scene. It remains unclear whether Mustafa was arrested.
Claims of Harassment and Ongoing Fear
Olivera also accused Mustafa of harassing her on social media and said the ordeal has left her deeply shaken.
She stated that she is now "mentally and emotionally in fear" for both her own safety and that of her child.
Speaking publicly after filing the restraining order, Olivera emphasized that her priority is protecting her son.
"I never wanted my son in the public eye, especially involved in anything negative," she said, per TMZ, adding that the situation had nothing to do with her or her child.
She "doesn’t want drama, a response, or even an apology," but instead wants privacy and safety for her family.
Olivera also claimed that Mustafa confronted Russell, who previously appeared on Too Hot To Handle, during the scary incident and demanded that he swear on his son’s life that he would never leave her.
According to her, the Love Island contestant had been sending frightening messages in the hours leading up to the confrontation, including statements suggesting she "would not be here tomorrow".
Despite the seriousness of the allegations, Olivera expressed sympathy for Mustafa. She described the situation as an "extremely unfortunate situation for everybody involved."
"I pray for her mental health," she added.
Court Order and Next Steps
A judge has since granted a temporary restraining order, requiring Mustafa to stay at least 100 yards away from Olivera, her son, and their Los Angeles home.
The order will remain in place until a court hearing scheduled for April 3, 2026.
