Last night (Sunday, February, 11), the long-awaited Super Bowl LVIII took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs battled it out to win one of the highest championships in American football, the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The Chiefs emerged victorious in the second overtime thriller, beating the Niners 25-22 after quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a three-yard touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left to spare.

While fans were ecstatic that the back-to-back victors have now made history as the first repeat victors in the NFL for 19 years and the ninth overall, others were more focused on the main event: Taylor Swift.

The Grammy-winning musician, who is arguably one of the most visible people in NFL circles, has become synonymous with the football league after revealing that she is dating Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.

The Kelce-Swift hysteria reached its peak this week as the artist concluded her fourth Eras show in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday (February 10) and flew a private jet to make it to her boyfriend's game.

The Embassy of Japan assured the 34-year-old's loyal supporters that she would have time to attend the Super Bowl, stating: "Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins."

"We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red," they added.

Swift watched the game from a box, surrounded by her 34-year-old beau's family: mom Donna, and brother Jason, alongside other famous friends including Ice Spice, Blake Lively, and Lana Del Rey.

As the 'Love Story' musician has been credited by many people - including Adele - for making American football more enjoyable, it’s not a surprise that she was broadcast on the big screen several times during the game.

According to USA Today, Swift was shown 12 times for a total of 55 seconds (51 seconds before the game-winning touchdown) out of a broadcast that took about four hours and 18 minutes to complete. This includes her sightings from kickoff until the game went final.

The longest cutaway to her lasted 10.5 seconds when cameras showed her celebrating after the Chiefs took their only lead of the game in the third quarter, per Houston Chronicle. The last time she was displayed on the screen was when everyone in her suite was mobbing each other after Hardman's game-winning touchdown catch.

Kelce opened up about winning the Lombardi trophy, expressing: "The goal has always been to get three, we couldn’t get there without getting to two," as cited by The Independent.

"Family forever baby, I couldn’t be more proud, we get a chance to do this three times in a row. We’ll party and then get back to it," he added.

Looks like the Swift-Kelce Super Bowl was a success!
