Tom Brady reportedly dating another supermodel ‘for a while’ years after split from Gisele Bündchen
Tom Brady is reportedly dating a fellow supermodel of his ex, Gisele Bündchen, four years after their divorce.
The retired NFL quarterback has reportedly been romantically involved with South African model Candice Swanepoel, 38, for "a while," according to US Weekly.
The outlet’s insider did not share any further details about the rumored couple, and neither Brady nor Swanepoel has publicly confirmed the relationship.
Brady's divorce from Gisele Bündchen
The seven-time Super Bowl champion was married to Bündchen for 13 years before the pair announced their divorce in 2022.
At the time, Brady confirmed their decision to end their marriage on Instagram.
"In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage," he wrote, per PEOPLE. "We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together."
The athlete added that separating from his wife was, "of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world," adding: "However, we wish only the best for each other as we pursue new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written."
The Brazilian model posted on her own Instagram Story the same day, which read: "With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve."
"The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always," she concluded.
The ex-couple share two children: son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13.
Brady also shares a son, Jack, 19, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.
Brady has kept his dating life relatively private
Since the divorce, Brady has been linked to several high-profile women, including influencer Alix Earle and supermodel Irina Shayk.
However, despite ongoing speculation surrounding his love life, the former quarterback has largely avoided discussing his relationships publicly.
"I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working, and I love my kids," he told PEOPLE in January. "I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing, so I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things."
"My oldest [son] is 18. But seeing him thrive and grow, and there’s nothing greater for a parent when you’re seeing your kids do well. I’m so blessed in so many parts of my life," he added.
As for Swanepoel, she was most recently in a decade-long relationship with ex-fiancé Hermann Nicoli, 44, before they split up in 2018. The former couple are parents of two sons: Anacã, 10, and Ariel, 8.
The model, who has also kept her love life private since the breakup, opened up about balancing motherhood with her modeling career.
"Life is a constant search for balance, for me at least, and yes I do sometimes feel overwhelmed, but I’m very in tune with my children’s needs, then my own personal needs, which are also important," she told V magazine in 2023.
"Sometimes it’s easy to forget. I’ve realized to be a better mother, I know I need to also take care of myself, whether that be about my [physical] health or mental health or being able to excel in my career and business because it brings me joy and so my children have begun to understand that too.”
She added: "I think it’s very healthy and important for them to see everything I do. One of my most vivid memories as a child was seeing my father wake up at 4 a.m. to take care of our farm and his dedication and drive is something that is now part of me and something I hope they will learn from me."
Swanepoel is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and most recently walked at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026 last weekend.
