Justin Bieber has been roasted on social media after appearing at the 2022 Grammys in an oversized suit.
The 28-year-old singer walked the red carpet alongside his wife Hailey on Sunday night, looking like a teenager who had raided his dad's wardrobe in the hope of being served beer at the local 7-Eleven.
While Hailey was wearing a stunning white Saint Laurent gown, the 'Sorry' singer donned a grey Balenciaga two-piece suit, white vest, bright neon pink hat, 90s-style sunglasses, and chunky Balenciaga footwear (which, if I'm being honest, look more like size 15 goth Crocs).
Choices were certainly made in the Bieber household, and despite being handsome enough and rich enough to be able to pull off the unique look, that didn't stop several Twitter users from poking fun online.
One person joked: "I wore the same suit to many a Bar-Mitzvah when I was in 7th grade."
A second Twitter user added: "Yo shoutout to Shaq for lending Justin Bieber one of his suits last minute #GRAMMYs".
A third tweeted: "u cannot tell me that Justin Bieber is not actually two kids in a suit right here [sic]".
But actor Amanda Abbington thinks she's got to the bottom of the issue, when she tweeted: "If you are taking the p**s out of Justin Bieber’s suit and hat and shoes, I feel duty-bound to remind you that size wise, ordering clothes online and at the last minute is a highly complex and tricky business."
As I say, that suit is probably worth more than my life - so I'll keep schtum.
Bieber was up for eight awards at last night's show, including the prestigious Record of the Year for his track, 'Peaches'. Sadly, though, Bieber walked away empty-handed.
On a more serious note, it was great to see Hailey Bieber looking well following her health scare last month.
The 25-year-old American model and socialite revealed that she had been hospitalized after suffering from "stroke-like symptoms".
She added: "[Doctors] found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body has passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours."
