Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she's 10 weeks sober.

The former model, 35, has been very open and candid about her sobriety journey and her decision to quit drinking for good.

Back at the start of the year, the celebrity chef - who is married to singer John Legend - explained that she decided to quit alcohol after a few too many embarrassing moments caused by excessive drinking.

A whole ten months since then, Teigen is now celebrating 70 days without the booze.

Sharing a screenshot of a tracking app that puts her "sober streak" at 70 days, Teigen wrote: "10 weeks woopwoop!!!!"

Earlier this month, she celebrated 50 days of being sober but admitted that she did stumble on "a few (wine) hiccups in the road".

Taking to Instagram on September 4, the mom-of-two shared a sweet video of herself laying on a yoga mat during a workout while her two children Luna, five, and Miles, three, interrupted.

In the caption, she shared a candid message about her sobriety and celebrated a milestone moment in her personal journey.

"Today is my 50 day sobriety streak! it should be nearly a year but I had a few (wine) hiccups in the road," she wrote in the caption.

"This is my longest streak yet! I still dunno if I’ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way."

The cookbook author explained how alcohol affects her, writing: "I don’t get more fun, I don’t dance, I don’t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night.

"I had my fun with it and appreciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly!!!!

"This is also my third day this week working out which is unheard of for me, and my bears are notttt making it easy but loving @movewithnicole on YouTube!!"

Back in January, Teigen got candid with her followers as she explained her reasons for ditching booze.

"One month ago, on my birthday, I got this book from my doctor and friend," she wrote alongside an image of Holly Whitaker's book Quit Like A Woman.

"I was done with making an *ss of myself in front of people (I'm still embarrassed,) tired of day drinking and feeling like s**t at 6, not being able to sleep."

She added: "I have been sober ever since. And even if you can't see yourself doing it or just plain don't want to, it is still an incredible read."

Teigen revealed she had stopped drinking at the end of 2020 after a difficult year for her family.

She and husband John suffered unimaginable heartbreak after losing their unborn baby son Jack in October 2020.
