Chrissy Teigen revealed she's had a hair transplant on her eyebrows after plucking them all off when she was younger.

The former model and cookbook author, 35, shared the results of the procedure on Instagram on Sunday, November 21, along with a warning to teens not to make the same mistake she did.

She also revealed that she had the procedure so she wouldn't have to wear makeup so often.

"I never wear makeup if I can avoid it so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery," she wrote, alongside a selfie on her Instagram Story.

The star, who is married to singer John Legend, was clearly happy with the results of the transplant as she shared snaps of her new brows from multiple angles throughout the day.

"This is right after surgery!! Crazy!!" she wrote on a selfie of her sporting her new bushy brows.

"A little dark from the pencil but it's so cool to have brows again! Teens: do not pluck them all of like I did," she captioned a later selfie, also shared on her Instagram story.

Eyebrow transplant surgery is one of the less famous cosmetic procedures available. Doctors take hair follicles from the back of the head and graft them onto the eyebrow area. The results are thick bushy brows that won't need filling in with makeup.

One of Teigen's doctors, Dr. Jason Diamond, shared a picture of the star along with some additional information on how to care for one's eyebrows, saying: "I know too many people, entire generations, who either overplucked brows as part of the trend or are simply experiencing eyebrow thinning with time."

Diamond added that eyebrow transplantation "is a procedure where we mutually agree on shape, density etc., and skill takes it from there."

The news of Teigen's latest cosmetic venture comes amid a wave of backlash over her recent Squid Game-themed party. Critics have called out the lavish soiree - attended by a host of wealthy celebrity friends - as being "tone-deaf" and missing the point of the TV show, which critiques wealth inequality.

Teigen responded to the criticism on her Instagram story, sharing Buzzfeed articles also making light of the program and claiming that they too must have "missed the point."
