Dakota Johnson has opened up about one of the "worst" times of her life and it allegedly took place on the set of one of her favorite shows.

During a new episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, she revealed that while starring in The Office's series finale, she felt uncomfortable because "no one wanted to talk" to her.

As Meyers asked her whether members of the cast had felt sad at the fact that the hit sitcom was ending, Johnson responded: "They were sad. There were also weird dynamics that had been going on for the last 10 years. Some people didn’t speak to each other and I’m coming in like 'I’m so excited to be here!'"

She went on to brand it "the worst time of my life" laughing while adding: "...No one wanted to talk to me. No one gave a f***."

Johnson also stated that she didn't expect it to take up so much of her time, despite her appearance only being a couple of minutes on screen.

"They were like, 'Do you want to be in the series finale?' And I was like, 'Of course,' thinking that I’d show up for like half a day," Johnson said. "I was there for two weeks. And I’m barely in the f****** show."

The actress then apologized for swearing so much, blaming the glass of champagne she had earlier.

"Look, it’s the f****** Office’s fault. It’s not your fault," Meyers joked as Johnson joined in on the banter saying: "It’s their fault. And I was like in the background of all of these scenes, faxing things."

In another segment that took place earlier, the Fifty Shades of Grey star also talked about her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live alongside Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon.

"You did a really funny sketch with the Please Don't Destroy boys," Meyers said to Johnson. "I think we can call them the Please Don't Destroy boys?"

"Yes - or if you're an SNL insider, which I am, you call them PDD," Johnson deadpanned, assuring Meyers that he can call them that too because they work on the same floor.

"I had a great time," Johnson continued, as Meyers named a highlight of the sketch - the part when she calls a "nepo truce" with PDD's John Higgins and Martin Herlihy (both of their fathers were longtime SNL writers).

"My favorite bit was the chant after," Johnson said, repeating the nepo truce oath: "A foot in the door, and so much more.'"

It was pretty hilarious, that's for sure.

Johnson rose to fame in smaller on-screen roles before having her big break portraying Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise. Since then, she has gone on to star in feature films including Persuasion, The Lost Daughter, and more recently Cha Cha Real Smooth.

Her upcoming project Madame Web, which sees her play the title character in the Spider-Man spin-off, will be available to watch later in 2024.
