Demi Lovato has wowed fans with their new piercing - just days after showing off fresh ink on the side of their head.
The 29-year-old singer - who uses they/them pronouns - shared a photo and video of the piercing and tattoo on their Instagram story this week.
Lovato added a new industrial piercing directly below it for an even edgier vibe.
The Grammy-nominated artist turned to Los Angeles-based piercer Daniel Ruiz to give them exactly what they were looking for.
"Yes @ddlovato has a new piercing By @mrprickrichink me," Ruiz captioned a video of Lovato showing off the freshly-pierced round stud directly above the left ear.
On January 9, Lovato kicked off the new year by visiting celeb-favorite tattoo artist Dr. Woo for the intricate spider-shaped body art.
In a bold move, Lovato opted to get a huge black spider on the side of their recently shaven head.
A short while later they unveiled the finished tatt, sporting dramatic eyeshadow, dark lipstick and a buzzcut to compliment the edgy look.
"Now @alchestamber come fix my hair pleeeese," the singer captioned the story. They also credited Dr. Woo and added crying laughing emojis.
In a later story, they hinted at the inspiration behind the design by sharing a quote:
"It was grandmother spider who taught us many things. She taught us about pottery and weaving. She taught us about fire and light and dark. She taught us that we are all connected on the web - each one of us having our place in this world."
For those unaware, Grandmother spider is a figure in Native American folklore.
However, fans have been questioning one little detail since the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker debuted their ink.
In a recently resurfaced interview, the former Disney star revealed that they had a real fear of the eight-legged insect.
"I don't like spiders," they said, adding: "But I have a really hard time killing them."
Lovato ditched the "California sober" lifestyle last month, after revealing that they still drank and smoked marijuana in moderation in early 2021.
"I no longer support my 'California sober' ways," they wrote. "Sober sober is the only way to be."
