Elon Musk's dad has opened up about how his famous son reacted when he told him he'd welcomed a second child with his step-daughter.
According to Errol Musk, the Tesla founder was "too busy" to speak about his new half-sibling, who his 76-year-old Dad claims to share with his 35-year-old stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout.
Musk first met Bezuidenhout when she was just four years old, and he married her mom Heide Bezuidenhout. The couple welcomed two daughters together before going their separate ways, after which Musk become romantically involved with Bezuidenhout.
In 2018, the South African engineer fathered a son with his stepdaughter-turned-girlfriend, named Elliot 'Rushi' Musk. Since then, he and Bezuidenhout have separated. But - as he told The Sun last week - Musk believes that Bezuidenhout's second child is also his.
Despite the scandalous revelation, Musk has reported that his most famous child - Tesla boss Elon - was not interested in discussing his new half-sibling.
In the interview, Musk claimed that when he told his billionaire son about the baby his response was: "Okay, I got it, but l’m real busy right now. I'll speak to you in due course."
The SpaceX founder is his father's eldest son from his first marriage to Maye Musk. According to their dad, the rest of his siblings weren't exactly thrilled by his baby news.
"I notified all my children. I said take it or leave it. And my youngest son, Kimbal, his initial reaction was, 'It happens'," he recalled.
"My three daughters all said 'Jeez', because Jana’s their half sister. Tosca, Rose and Allie, Alexandra. They were like, 'How could Jana do this?' They still don’t like it," he continued, adding: "They still feel a bit creepy about it, because she's their sister. Their half-sister. They were more concerned [than the boys]."
Meanwhile, his romantic relationship with Bezuidenhout may be over, but Musk is showing no signs of slowing down. He went on to claim that several women are alleging to have given birth to his children, adding that for many of them this is "quite conceivable" because of his philandering behavior in the 80s.
As for whether he'd like to bring another child into the world, Musk said he couldn't "see any reason not to".
"The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce," he added.
