Emma Roberts has apparently responded to Angelica Ross after she was accused of intentionally misgendering her transgender co-star on the set of American Horror Story.
The 32-year-old lead star of the horror anthology series - which premiered its twelfth season, titled Delicate, this week - was called out by the 42-year-old trans actress on Instagram.
Ross appeared in seasons nine and 10 of the popular show, making her the first trans actor to have two prominent roles on network television.
She also features in the latest season but is not credited as a cast member.

On Tuesday (September 19), the Pose star took to her social media to open up about her strained relationship with the Wild Child actress, specifically focusing on an alleged incident that occurred in 2019 during filming for the American Horror Story: 1984 set.
Ross claimed that a playful moment between the two, in which Roberts semi-jokingly complained to a crew member that Ross was being mean to her, led to an alleged transphobic remark.
Watch Ross speak about the alleged incident below:"I'm standing in front of Emma, talking to her like this, and she's in front of me, her back against the mirror," Ross recalled in the screen-recorded clip.
"She goes, 'John, Angelica's being mean,'" Ross said. While the "John" in question was not specified, two episodes of the season they both starred in were directed by filmmaker John J. Gray.
"I know she's not being for real," the actress said of the We're The Millers star's "mean" remark. "She's just being whatever. And John is like, 'OK, ladies, that's enough. Let's get back to work.'"
Ross claimed that after "John" tried to diffuse the situation, Roberts replied: "Don’t you mean lady?" - implying that the actress, who is trans, was not a woman. The Claws actress then said that Roberts turned around and covered her mouth with her shirt after making the alleged comment.
Ross recalled looking at the former Nickelodeon star "dead a** in the camera" and saying: "What the f*** did you just say?", adding: "And I'm standing there looking her dead a** in the damn thing, and I'm like, trying to process [what] the f*** she just said.
"I'm standing there, she walked away, my blood is boiling. Because I'm like, if I say something, it's gonna be me that's the problem," she said, claiming that a previous person on the set of AHS once complained about the actress and faced "repercussions" from higher-ups.
The Transparent alum admitted that she no longer spoke to Roberts after the alleged on-set encounter. "So when I saw that happening, I was just like, 'I'm done.' I didn't speak to that b**** the entire time after that. So we had scenes together and I never spoke to her," she said.

Ross' exposé didn't stop there as on Wednesday (September 20), she alleged another troubling incident with Roberts and what seems to be their 1984 costar Cody Fern.
"We’re all sitting around & I’m copying Cody’s accent. Didn’t know he had one. Emma then copies my voice & laugh and drops it several octaves," she wrote the platform X. "I was SHOOK. She read me for blood with my own words. of course I was self conscious about my voice on set after that."
The Scream Queens actress - who will play Anna Victoria Alcott in the new season - hasn't publicly commented on the transphobic allegations against her, however, Ross claims in a separate tweet that Roberts reached out to her privately to apologize.
The post read: "Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behavior was not that of an ally," she shared on Wednesday. "I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform."
The long-awaited American Horror Story spin-off aired this week, with a Halloween special set to drop in late October.
