On Sunday, February 13, the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at the 2022 Super Bowl.
But it's the epic halftime show that has got everyone talking.
Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg were among the iconic artists to appear on stage at the SoFi arena in an explosive performance.
As is traditional for halftime shows, there was no shortage of shocks and surprises. Secret guest star 50 Cent took to the mic to perform his 2003 hit 'In Da Club'.
Meanwhile, rapper Eminem courted controversy by taking the knee in protest against racism and police brutality, despite reportedly being warned not to by NFL bosses.
The show has set social media ablaze, with many celebs and athletes hailing it as the best ever.
Lady Gaga - who headlined the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show - tweeted: "THAT WAS A BOMB OF RADICAL LOVE THANK YOU #SuperBowl HALFTIME SHOW!! Incredible!! That's what it's all about!!"
Meanwhile, a video of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James dancing in the audience has gone viral on Twitter. "OMG!!!!!!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!! THE GREATEST HALFTIME SHOW IVE EVER SEEN!!!" the athlete tweeted afterward.
Social media is flooded with people who agree that Sunday's hip-hop heavy halftime performance was the best they'd ever seen.
"Best halftime show ever!" wrote NBA player James Harden.
"Best halftime of all time," added soccer star Abby Wambach.
In fact, the show was so electric that one Bengals player even stayed on the field to watch it. Rookie kicker Evan McPherson ditched the locker room to watch the performance from his front-row seat.
NFL commentator and three-time Super Bowl winner Tedy Bruschi made it clear that - were he on the pitch - he'd have been tempted to do the same thing.
"If I were in the locker room I'd seriously consider coming out for this halftime show," the former Patriots player tweeted.
Lady Gaga, Prince and Michael Jackson have all previously been hailed as having the best halftime show performance ever.
Whether or not you agree this year's show was better, it's certainly going to go down in history as one of the all-time greats.
