Fans have been left speechless after Liam Payne hit the red carpet at his friend's latest movie premiere.
The 29-year-old former One Direction member was spotted out in London with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, on Thursday night attending Louis Tomlinson's All Of Those Voices movie premiere.
The event, which took place at Cineworld in Leicester Square, played host to an array of celebrities who turned up to celebrate the 31-year-old's venture into the world of cinema.
Even though fans were excited to see a mini-reunion between the two men, a different topic of conversation outshone the moment and it was one other than Payne's face.
That's right, photos taken on the red carpet seemingly showed off the 'Strip That Down' singer's new look, which many fans have attributed to the work of buccal fat removal - a trendy procedure that sees fat pads removed from the inside of an individual's cheeks, resulting in a more chiseled face.
Fans took to Twitter to comment on the dramatic change.
"Out of every celebrity to fall victim to the buccal fat removal surgery, I really did not expect Liam Payne to be one of them. This is what he deserves for being horrible," said one user.
Another asked: "What happened to Liam Payne’s beautiful face???"
A third even compared him to Handsome Squidward. Yikes.
And the comments didn't stop there.
"Liam Payne getting his face done was not on my 2023 bingo card," wrote another Twitter user, while a different user insinuated that the singer was taking inspiration from Khloe Kardashian.
While none of the other former boyband members including Harry Styles, Niall Horan, or Zayn Malik showed up to publicly support Tomlinson at the premiere, Payne made the extra effort to be at the event.
"It means the world," the 'We Made It' singer said on the red carpet, as per Rolling Stone. "I didn’t actually expect him to come, but he told me a couple of days ago he was coming, so really just an honor and a testament to him as a guy, definitely."
And Payne also felt the love for his "brother."
"All the boys have been there for me," Payne also said at the event. "I’ve suffered a bit of a dark time in my life at the moment. Honestly, I wouldn’t be here without the boys."
Footage from the screening showed the 29-year-old stood clapping as the movie finished, clearly proud of what his long-time friend had achieved.
As per it's official description on PictureHouse Cinema, All Of Those Voices gives audiences an intimate and unvarnished view of Tomlinson's life and career, offering a "unique perspective on what it's like to be a musician in today's fast-paced world."
