Fans have been left speechless after Laverne Cox decided to celebrate her birthday with a stunning video.

In honor of turning 51 yesterday (May 29), the actress took to Instagram to post a video wearing a 2001 vintage Dior swimsuit designed by John Galliano paired with a vintage, multi-colored Mugler coat from 1985.

Cox posed for the camera several times, showing off her incredible physique while Eric Serra's 'The Diva Dance' played in the background - a very fitting scenario for the 'Can You Keep A Secret?' star.

Alongside the video, she also posted a lengthy caption emphasizing the significance of entering her "vintage" years.

"I'm obsessed with vintage right now. Perhaps because I'm vintage. Lol," she started. "I feel like it's a miracle that I'm still alive."

She continued: "To all my siblings out there, here's to making it to another day despite all the efforts to keep us from doing so. Stay strong!! Hold on!!!"

The star also added the hashtags "#TransIsBeautiful" and "#BirthdayGirl."

Since it was published yesterday, the post has received over 14,000 likes and thousands of comments who commended the 51-year-old for her age-defying looks.

"[You are] ageless. Happy born-day [to you]," wrote one user, while another added: "Girllll, you do not age" along with a flame and heart-eyes emoji.

The star also reposted the video to her Instagram Stories with the caption: "Happy birthday to me" before following up with some old images of models wearing the iconic Mugler coat from the video.

Back in 2021, Cox opened up about the difficulties of being able to fully express herself and celebrate her identity, telling the Guardian that she has learned to be kinder to herself.

"I’ve caught myself saying the most atrocious things to myself, things I would never say if I was out in the world. 'You’re so ugly...'" She tells the outlet. "Vicious, cruel things. Things that, if I said them to a child, then the child would be taken away from me. But, we all have a child inside us, so..."

She continued, getting emotional as she spoke: "I can’t bear how cruel I’ve been to that little girl. It’s not fair to her – she deserves so much better. It’s so hard for me not to blame her, not to shame her when she hasn’t been perfect. So this 'spiritual opportunity' [living alone in LA] is confronting how cruel I’ve been to myself. I’ve known how hard I can be on myself for about 10 years, but I can only say it now."

When speaking about how she changed that bad habit, she opened up about her daily affirmations, saying: "This sounds so corny... I stand by the mirror and say, 'You’re so amazing.'"

She continued: "I say, 'You got through that, that’s incredible. So many people are still struggling in ways you don’t struggle any more. You’ve accomplished so much, you’ve grown so much. So many trans people have said their lives are better because of you.'"

"I stand in the mirror and say, 'Laverne, you should be so proud,'" she added.

Happy birthday, queen!
