In typical Netflix fashion, they are removing some great movies soon, including one horror flick that even Stephen King loved.

It seems like the streaming service removes things on purpose just to annoy us, so it's important to watch things as and when they come up.

Check out the trailer below:

If you're a lover of horror, then you've definitely heard of Stephen King, and you'll probably agree that he is one to be trusted when it comes to rating movies.

The movie in question is The Clovehitch Killer.

Directed by Duncan Skiles, the film stars Charlie Plummer as Tyler, a teenager who stumbles across disturbing photos hidden in his father Don’s (Dylan McDermott) belongings.

What follows is a chilling descent into paranoia and dread as Tyler starts to suspect the man he’s always admired might secretly be a serial killer.

Teaming up with local true crime buff Kassi (Madisen Beaty), Tyler launches an amateur investigation to uncover the truth about his father—and what he finds is far worse than he ever imagined.

The film is loosely based on the real-life story of Dennis Rader, better known as the BTK Killer (Bind, Torture, Kill).

Rader murdered 10 people in Kansas between 1974 and 1991, living a seemingly ordinary life while taunting police for decades. He was finally arrested in 2005.

King, who’s written 65 books and inspired countless terrifying film adaptations (Carrie, It, Gerald’s Game, just to name a few), took to X (formerly Twitter) to spotlight The Clovehitch Killer as a hidden gem.

"Sometimes an excellent small movie falls through the cracks," King wrote.

"That's the case with THE CLOVEHITCH KILLER (Netflix). I found it unbearably suspenseful. Your mileage may vary, but be warned. Not for the faint of heart."

If King's recommendation isn't enough, then other people on X have also heaped praise on the movie.

One user said: "This movie just popped up in my recommendations the other day. Checked it out and was shocked I’d heard nothing about it before."

A second said: "I saw it last week. Totally agree [with Stephen King]."

Another excited viewer announced: "EVERYONE WATCH THE CLOVEHITCH KILLER ON NETFLIX NOW."

The Clovehitch Killer is only around on Netflix for a few days, and in this case, that clock runs out Thursday, May 15.

Get watching... if you dare!
