Stop what you're doing because you'll soon be able to buy Shrek Crocs and that deserves your undivided attention.

As everyone knows, Shrek is love, Shrek is life - and even though the original movie came out in 2001 (yes we are that old already), the love for Shrek hasn't dwindled.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with the franchise, the story revolves around Shrek, a green ogre, and his journey from living a lonely, miserable life in his swamp to having an abundance of friends that he may or may not want.

That description definitely doesn't do it justice, it's best to just go and watch them.

Personally, Shrek 2 is the standout but there are arguments for each and every one as to why it could be the best.

For those of you who want to show off your undying love for the ogre, you can now buy Shrek Crocs... What are you waiting for?

The clogs have Shrek's signature ears and nose attached, as well as a fluffy brown accent on the heel strap, which means they'll be perfect for lounging around the house and any formal occasions you might have coming up.

And with the heel strap, you can put those bad boys into sports mode and go for a run.

Sadly there is no confirmed release date for the Crocs yet, but various reports on social media indicate that they could hit shelves this month.

The anticipation hasn't stopped fans from getting excited though, as one fan tweeted: "i really want the shrek crocs," while a second added: "Yall would still love me if I wore Shrek crocs right?"

Speaking of Shrek, you may have overlooked a pretty adult joke in the first movie, involving Lord Farquaad.

The scene in question showcases Lord Farquaad reclining in his bed, asking the magic mirror to reveal the princess he intends to marry - Fiona.

On the surface, it appears rather innocent, with no cause for alarm. However, a subtle detail was overlooked by many. As the covers on the bed rise ever so slightly, Lord Farquaad's face contorts in embarrassment.

For those who are still a little lost, fans believe he was facing an issue that often happens to men and involves some slight readjustments downstairs.

In less embarrassing Shrek news, back in April Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri, who is also a creative partner to DreamWorks Animation, appeared to announce a new Shrek movie.

Speaking to Variety, he acknowledged the announcement while promoting the new Mario movie. "It’s not that dissimilar to the process that we went through with Mario," he said. "Where you look at what the core elements are that audiences have loved, and you do your very best to honor those core elements.

"And then you’re hard at work to build story elements and new characters that take you to brand new places. The original cast is a huge part of that. We anticipate the cast coming back. Talks are starting now, and every indication that we’ve gotten is there’s tremendous enthusiasm on behalf of the actors to return."

You can watch this new movie with your Shrek Crocs on - what could be better?
