An influencer has been left in pain after she decided to recreate Doja Cat's iconic bejeweled look from Paris Fashion Week.

Doja Cat stunned audiences last month after she showed up in an all-red diamond-encrusted ensemble at Italian fashion designer Schiaparelli's exhibition inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Inferno'.

The 'Been Like This' singer collaborated with iconic beauty veteran Pat McGrath to create a stunning Swarovski-encrusted outfit, especially for the occasion.

Speaking to Vogue of the inspiration behind the look, the 57-year-old make-up artist said that all of her creations for the show embodied Schiaparelli’s "beguiling blend of femininity and masculinity," but Doja's look took things one step further.

McGrath and her team worked tirelessly to cover the 27-year-old in 30,000 glittering Swarovski crystals for a "shimmering, scintillating, and subversive look" in bright red.

"Collaborating with the incomparably talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry was an absolute pleasure," McGrath told the outlet at the time. "Her patience and dedication as she sat with Team Pat McGrath and I for four hours and 58 minutes to achieve the creation, covered in over 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals, was truly inspiring."

And it looks like it inspired someone else too.

American model and influencer, Haley Kalil, is learning the hard way that some looks are just better left alone.

The 30-year-old took to social media to show off her rendition of the look that she debuted at the Vogue party at New York Fashion Week. However, things weren't all smooth sailing for her when it came to removing thousands of ruby-red stones from her face and body.

In a video that has now been viewed 9.8 million times, Haley told her 3 million followers that she may "have done a thing" that she now can't undo.

"So I may have done a thing, now I don't know how to undo a thing," she says as she's trying to peel off the bumps on her face.

She is seen clawing and scratching at the red layer in the hopes that it will just come off, but it just seems to be hurting her more than anything.

"I don't know how to get it off my body," she continues. "I'm covered in over 30,000 individual stones and they're so itchy. So come along with me on this journey as I try and get them off. They're on there pretty good."

"I'm pretty nervous the paint underneath is going to stain," Haley says, before adding: "This is why we don't make manic decisions, Haley."

Thankfully though, after a shower, the influencer returned to the camera looking a little more like herself, even despite the stains of red here and there.

And weirdly enough, she even claimed that the recreation of Doja Cat's look has been her favorite so far, even if it was the most difficult to maintain.

Fans quickly took to the comments to try and offer some advice to the star.

"Next time you [need] some almond oil or coconut oil," wrote one user while another commented: "Should of soaked in a bath lol." (sic)

Others were just downright confused.

"Bestie why would you do this..", asked one user to which Hayley replied back with: "I was feeling chaotic."

"Skin softer cause you probably ripped off the first layer of skin," this user commented.

Some questioned how long it took to pull off the look, with the influencer replying back with "9 hours."

Damn.

Another joked that the 30-year-old's intrusive thoughts "won this round."

You've got to admire the dedication though, right?

We salute you, Haley!
