Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's dramatic Red Table Talk has broken Facebook Watch's viewing record.
In the interview, the couple opens up about Jada's relationship with American singer August Alsina, after rumors about the pair started to circulate earlier in July when he said he had a relationship with her while she was married to Will Smith.
On the radio show The Breakfast Club, August, 27, claimed that he had "sat down with Will and had a conversation with Will about having a potential relationship with Jada, and he gave him his "blessing" to do so.

And viewer numbers reflected people's fascination with celebrity gossip.
According to preliminary numbers cited by Deadline, upwards of 15 million people watched the episode within the first 24 hours of it being released, marking a new record for video content on the platform.
Jada revealed that she had an affair with singer-songwriter August Alsina, 27, during a period of separation.
She described the split, saying: "We decided we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I will go figure out how to make myself happy."

Jada added: "From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August."
However, she used the interview as an opportunity to clear up previous reports in the media that she had gotten into a relationship with August with Will's permission.
This came after August said in a radio interview with The Breakfast Club that he had dated Jada while she was married to Will, but it was done with the full-knowledge and "blessing" of Will.
Jada clarified: "The only person who can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself".
But she said she understood why August "would perceive it as permission - because we were separated amicably".
"I think he also wanted to make it clear that he's not a homewrecker, which he's not," she said.
The previous record for the most-watched Facebook video was another Red Table Talk with Jordyn Woods, which accumulated up 7.6 million views in 24 hours when she confessed to kissing Khloé Kardashian's then-partner Tristian Thompson.

Will Smith has said that it is a "miracle" that he is still speaking to his wife, actor and musician Jada Pinkett Smith, after her affair.
In a candid exchange on Pinkett-Smith's Red Table Talk, the couple revealed previously hidden details surrounding their secretive split in 2015, as well as where their relationship stands today.
Discussing his wife’s affair with Alsina, 51-year-old Will declared:
"I wasn’t sure I was ever going to speak to you again. The fact that I’m speaking to you again is a miracle.
"[Marriage] ain’t for the weak at heart. There’s just certain things that you have to go through… I sure wish it could be all magic and miracles."
Discussing her doubts over whether the relationship could ever be repaired, Jada added:
“I’m just happy ‘cause I definitely believe that you and I, we never, ever, ever thought that we would make it back."
Revealing further details of the relationship with the 27-year-old 'No Love' singer, Jada described her connection with Alsina as a “different kind of entanglement” to what she had experienced with her husband.
Will, reflecting on the state of their marriage at that time, declared, "I was done with your ass. I was done with you,” before going on to add:
"Marriages have that though. We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll try to figure out how to make myself happy. I really felt like we could be over."

Details of the superstar couple’s relationship have dominated the news cycle in recent weeks after Alsina claimed that he had received Will’s “blessing” before conducting the affair - a claim that has since been rubbished by the Smith’s.
Following the explosive revelations, rumors began to circulate that Will had been romantically involved with actress Margot Robbie, 30.
Now, however, actress Margot Robbie's name has been trending, as fans thought Will also hinted that he'd been unfaithful when he said they had both "made mistakes without fear of losing" their family.
The pair worked together in the 2015 crime film Focus, with Will playing a con man who takes a young grifter (Margot) under his wing to pull off a major scam.
People took to Twitter to debate the subject, with one social media user writing: "Margot Robbie on top of Will Smith in the trending I mean, that's the story, isn't it?"

There is no confirmation that Margot was ever romantically involved with Will.
Jada said that she was ultimately in a relationship with August for around four years, but the pair are no longer in contact.

August Alsina has reportedly given Chris Rock's new Netflix special a watch and he's only got positive words to say about it.
Back in 2020, Alsina became a hot talking point online after it was revealed that he had an "affair" with Will Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
During an episode of the family's Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk, Pinkett Smith opened up about the so-called "entanglement," telling her husband, as well as her children, that she embarked on a relationship with the 30-year-old rapper while she and Smith were "separated amicably" - which was a detail that was not disclosed at the time.
"We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll figure out how to make myself happy," Pinkett Smith said during the famous episode. "From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August."
Alsina claimed during an interview with The Breakfast Club prior to the episode that Smith had approved of the relationship before it even began.
"I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism," Alsina told Angela Yee in 2020. "I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life and I truly and really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her."
However, Pinkett Smith denied that her husband gave Alsina "permission" to date her, adding that "the only person who could give permission in that particular circumstance was myself."
"What August was probably trying to communicate – because I could see how he would perceive it as permission, because we were separated amicably – I think he wanted to make it clear that he’s not a 'homewrecker'. Which he’s not," she confirmed.
Now, just over two years later, Chris Rock has re-sparked the conversation surrounding the bombshell revelation via his latest comedy show on Netflix.
The 58-year-old used the "entanglement" as ammunition against the family during his stint, stating that he "didn’t have any" himself.
"His wife was f****** her son’s friend," Rock said on Saturday 4 March. "Now, I normally would not talk about this s***. But for some reason [they] put that s*** on the internet... We [have] all been cheated on. Everybody in here’s been cheated on.
"None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television."
He added: "She hurt him way more than he hurt me, OK?"
"Everybody in the world called him a b****," Rock said of Smith. "Everybody. Everybody. And who’s he hit? Me. A n**** he know he could beat. That is some b****-a** s***."
Rock, who seemingly has his own beef with Pinkett Smith's husband, was referring to the shocking Oscars slap from March last year, which also took up a massive portion of the stand-up show - for obvious reasons.
Check out the moment Smith slapped Rock at the Oscars:Despite being the butt of the joke a few times, according to a source, Alsina was totally fine about it. In fact, he even hinted that Rock wasn't far off the mark about the entire fiasco.
Speaking to the New York Post, the insider said: "August watched the Netflix special and he laughed. He thought it was not only funny but truthful. That was the best part for him."
They continued: "A lot of people spoke out against [Alsina], so he was happy to see that Chris Rock seemed to be advocating for the truth and not just making a joke," before adding that the artist was "vindicated" when he said he had a conversation with Smith.
"It was a blessing given," they concluded.
Rock's comedy special, Selective Outrage, is now available to watch on Netflix.

In a candid and revealing interview on a prime-time special for Today, Jada Pinkett Smith addressed the swirling rumors regarding her husband, Will Smith's sexuality, and shared insights into her deeply personal struggles.
The Red Table Talk host, 52, has been in the limelight alongside her husband for over two decades. Together, they've faced numerous rumors and speculations.
In her conversation with host Hoda Kotb, Jada tackled some of the most persistent ones head-on. “A million things were out there,” she said, addressing whispers of their supposed open marriage, swinger rumors, and questions about Will's sexuality. “I mean, none of that’s true. I can understand why there’d be misunderstandings,” she affirmed.
However, the revelations didn't stop there. The Worthy author also admitted that she and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star have been living separately for more than seven years, despite their public appearances.
Jada shares intimate details of her relationship with Will:“We live separately,” she acknowledged. She recalled their decision to split in 2016, citing the exhaustion of trying to make their relationship work. Jada expressed the difficulty both faced as they tried to align their expectations and reality, stating, “I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.”
Their separation was kept a secret even during tumultuous times, like when rumors about her relationship with family friend August Alsina emerged. Jada confirmed her "entanglement" with August on her Red Table Talk show in 2021, emphasizing that she and Will were separated during that time.
Reflecting on the controversial 2022 Academy Awards incident where Will confronted comedian Chris Rock for a joke about Jada's alopecia condition, Jada shared their healing journey. “These kinds of moments can do two things. They can amplify love, or they can really make you bitter, angry, resentful,” she said. “We’ve chosen to really look at this moment and heal.”
Delving further into her personal life, Jada opened up about her battles with depression during her 40s, revealing that she had even battled with suicidal ideations.
Her haunting admission: “You start to think that everybody’s better without you,” resonates with many battling mental health issues. In her journey to cope, Jada turned to Ayahuasca, a plant-based psychedelic, which she credited with giving her a newfound sense of freedom and lifting the "veil" of her depression.

The singer-songwriter August Alsina has claimed that Hollywood movie star Will Smith gave him permission to have a relationship with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Alsina has fueled speculation over his alleged relationship with Pinkett Smith in the past, not least by way of his 2019 track, 'Nunya'.
The song includes the lyrics, "You got me feeling like it was an act, you're just an actress/Putting on a show 'cause you don't want the world to know." The music video for the song also features a shot of a text message sent by a love interest named "Koren," which is Jada Pinkett Smith's middle name.

Now, in an interview with The Breakfast Club's Angela Yee, Alsina has claimed that he had the blessing of Will Smith to enter into a love affair with Smith's wife. He said that he and Pinkett Smith had become "very close" during a holiday in 2016.
Per Complex, he said of his decision to speak publicly about the rumors:
"Contrary to what some people may believe, I'm not a troublemaker. I don't like drama. Drama actually makes me nauseous.
"I also don't think that it's ever important for people to know what I do, who I sleep with, who I date, right? But in this instance, there are so many people who are side-eyeing me ... I've lost money, friendships, relationships behind it. And I think it's because people don't necessarily know the truth.
"But I've never done anything wrong. I love those people [the Smiths] ... They are beautiful people."
Alsina went on to claim that his love affair with Pinkett Smith wasn't a secret affair after all. "I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation [...] He gave me his blessing," he said.
"I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her (Jada). I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it. So much so that I can die right now, and be OK knowing that I fully gave myself to somebody ... Some people never get that in this lifetime."
Alsina acknowledged that the situation might be difficult for some people to understand, but that it had started to affect his livelihood and so he had decided to speak up on the rumors.
Per Page Six, a rep for Pinkett Smith has said that Alsina's claims are "absolutely not true".
Something tells me we haven't heard the last of this...
