Jamie Lee Curtis is known for many things - Laurie Strode from Halloween, being a recent Oscar winner, and an advocate for aging naturally.

While the trend with celebrities - especially those who are Los Angeles-based - is to nip, tuck, plump, and pout, 64-year-old Curtis has proven time and time again that she prefers to age naturally.

"Don't mess with your face," the actress declared during an appearance on US morning show Today late last year. "I put Botox in my head. Does Botox make the big wrinkle go away? Yes. But then you look like a plastic figurine," she continued.

When it comes to cosmetic surgery and aging, Curtis also said that she hopes her children will learn from her experiences: "Walk a mile in my shoes. I have done it. It did not work. And all I see is people now focusing their life on that."

Her current beliefs on enhancements haven't always been the same, as the Everything Everywhere All At Once actress told More magazine in 2002 (via The Telegraph): "I've had a little lipo. I've had a little Botox. And you know what? None of it works. None of it."

And Curtis isn't the only celeb to hit out against the pressure for women to look perfect as they age. In fact, 57-year-old Justine Bateman hit out at trolls who criticized her appearance, telling 60 Minutes Australia: "I needed to google something to do a little research and remind myself of something that happened when I was famous, so I put in my name, Googled my name, Justine Bateman, and then the autocomplete came up which was 'looks old.'"

The mom-of-two then added: "And I was only 42 at the time …and I was like 'what?' And I looked at the pictures that they had as evidence and I couldn't see what they were talking about."

She also said that she feels sad for women who try to reverse the effects of aging by using Botox and filler, as she thinks they're just "not enjoying" life. "I feel sad that they are distracted from the things they're meant to do in life, with this consuming idea that they've got to fix their face before anything else can happen," Bateman admitted.

"Forget about your face! That is what I'm saying. Get rid of the fear that your face being wrinkled is going to ruin a bunch of opportunities for you."

Well, kudos to Curtis and Bateman!
