Jason Momoa has set the record straight on his dating life.

The Aquaman star sparked romance rumors when he was pictured getting cozy with Kate Beckinsale at the 94th Academy Awards Afterparty last month.

But when he was asked about the possibility of a spark between himself and the Underworld actor during an interview with Extra, Momoa was quick to disappoint.

"It was cray," he said, explaining that he had merely lent Beckinsale his coat - yet found himself at the center of fan speculation.

"Have a conversation with a woman about her country, I was in England doing Aquaman 2. Everyone is like, 'Are you dating?' No, no, it was chivalry, the woman was cold," he added.

Later in the interview, the star reiterated that there is nothing going on between himself and Beckinsale, saying: "Absolutely not, not together. She is very nice, I was being very nice, just being a gentleman."

As for any future chivalry, Momoa said that he has learned his lesson."Now, I am not giving my coat to anyone," he joked.

The rumors came just two months after Momoa split from his wife of 16 years, Liza Bonet. The couple - who share daughter Lola and son Nakoa-Wolf - announced on Instagram that they would be going their separate ways.

"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," Momoa wrote on behalf of himself and his now-ex-wife, who does not have social media.

"And so ~ We share our family news: That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy ~ but so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty," he continued, adding: "Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children."

After dating for more than a decade, Momoa and Bonet wed in October 2017. As well as their two kids together, their famous family also includes The Batman star Zoe Kravitz, Bonet's daughter from her first marriage to rockstar Lenny Kravitz.
