Jennifer Lopez’s first husband has revealed his true feelings about her marriage to Ben Affleck.

The 53-year-old singer was briefly married to Ojani Noa between 1997 and 1998. The pair met while the 48-year-old actor was working as a dishwasher at a Miami restaurant - just before Lopez shot to fame for her role in Selena.

The Cuban-born man now lives a quiet life from the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood spotlight, but after seeing his ex-wife's recent nuptials with Affleck, 48, he has taken the opportunity to voice his opinion on the couple’s future.

"I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last," he told the Daily Mail. "Jen loves being in love but she’s been engaged six times and Ben is husband number four."

After the couple ended their marriage in 1998, Noa worked as a producer and actor and appeared in several films throughout the 2000s such as Vendetta: No Conscience, No Mercy, and Rappin-n-Rhyming.

According to him, the Hustlers actress said he was "the love of her life" adding that when the pair lay in bed on their wedding night, she said, "we would be together forever".

While the pair broke things off after one year, Noa maintained that they still had a good friendship, saying: "We were together romantically for two years but friends for nearly a decade."

Noa said he is happy Lopez rekindled her relationship with Affleck, but he has a feeling it "won’t last" and that he thinks the 'I'm Real' singer is "someone who will be married seven or eight times".

"I can’t see her ever settling down with one person. She pushes herself to constantly go forward in her professional life, which is why she’s had a three-decade career, but she also moves on in her private life," he said.

After their marriage, the 'Jenny From The Block' singer went on to marry Cris Judd from 2001-2003, and then tied the knot with Marc Anthony from 2004-2014, and shared 14-year-old twins with him.

Lopez and Affleck, who were engaged in the early 2000s before splitting up for 17 years, got married earlier this month at The Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," Lopez wrote in her newsletter,  On the JLo.

"When love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving, and good to one another. We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives," she added.
