A frantic 911 call from Jeremy Renner's neighbor following the actor's horror snow plow accident has been revealed.

As previously reported, on New Year's Eve, the 52-year-old Marvel star was helping a stranded family member whose car had broken down close to his mountain home in Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, Nevada, when a severe winter storm hit the area.

During his good deed, he was unfortunately "run over" by "an extremely large piece of snow removal equipment" that reportedly weighed "around 14,330 pounds," and had to be airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

Now, in new audio first released by TMZ, Renner can be heard moaning in pain in the background of the desperate emergency call, as the neighbor explained his blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

Listen to the 911 call below:

In the audio clip, the unidentified neighbor can be heard telling the female operator: "Immediately, somebody has been run over by a Snowcat, hurry."

"Phone paramedics, ambulance," he continued before he was interrupted by the woman who is heard saying "everyone is on their way right now".

A pause in the phone call gives way to the painful moans from the actor who friends said nearly "bled out" during the incident, per Daily Mail.

"Listen to me, you might want to get lifeline out here immediately," the clearly distressed man urgently said. "Ok, give me one second," the 911 conductor responded before asking "where is he bleeding from".

"He got crushed up on his right side," the male caller continued as he observed Renner's injuries. "His right chest and upper torso, his ribs, they look like they might be crushed. He’s got a head wound as well."

The dispatcher then told the neighbor that it is hard to disclose an ETA for the arrival of medics because of the difficult snowy terrain, to which the neighbor said that Renner's "breaths are getting shorter".

While waiting for medics to arrive, the operator asked the man how Renner is doing and he replied: "Shallow breath, a lot of pain, he's conscious - we have him covered in blankets, his heads covered, he'll be drifting off."

The phone call makes it clear that the Dahmer actor had been crying out in agony for over 15 minutes after the unfortunate accident. And, footage posted online showed that an emergency helicopter airlifted him to the hospital from a private road blanketed in thick snow.

According to ABC 7, Renner underwent two surgeries and was treated in the intensive care unit during his hospital stay. Several hours later, he took to his Instagram to share an image of himself in his hospital bed, with the caption: "Thank you all for your kind words. I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."

The Wind River star is now expected to have a long recovery ahead of him after sources close to him disclosed that his injuries were "worse" than people knew.

Speaking to Radar Online, a source close to Renner told the outlet that his injuries are "much worse than anyone knows" and that the actor is "very aware of the fact that he almost died out there."

Another source claimed that they heard "the damage to Jeremy’s chest was so substantial it had to be reconstructed in surgery" and it could take up to two years for the star to be back to "fighting shape".

Nevertheless, the Bourne Legacy actor seems to be in good spirits as he updated fans on Twitter that he has been released from the hospital and is now at home recovering.

Commenting on a tweet posted by the account of his Paramount+ TV show, Mayor of Kingstown, he wrote: "Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 2.01 with my family at home."
