Kim Kardashian was reportedly rejected by Buckingham Palace after asking the attend the Queen's Platinum Jubilee this weekend.
A source close 41-year-old reality TV star told the Daily Mail that Kardashian had "asked for tickets" to attend the Platinum Party at the Palace with her boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, but officials denied her, as did publicists at the BBC.
The Daily Mail adds that the source revealed that the beauty mogul is trying to acquire tickets by other means, even if the tickets are "not VIP".
"Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn't visit the UK often," the source said. "Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration."
Per the Mirror, the ceremony Kardashian is trying to attend will celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 70-year reign. It will feature stars like Queen, Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys, Duran Duran, Andrea Bocelli, Nile Rodgers, Diversity, and Eurovision star Sam Ryder.
Notables like Sir David Attenborough, David Beckham, Emma Raducanu, and Dame Julie Andrews will be making special appearances at the event.
The two-and-a-half-hour event will also have a closing performance by music industry icon Diana Ross, in what will be her first live performance in the United Kingdom in 15 years.
Around 10,000 tickets were distributed through a public ballot and 7,500 tickets were reserved for key workers, those in the Armed Forces, volunteers, and charities.
Celebrations began on Thursday (June 2) with Trooping the Colour - The Queen's Birthday Parade - before the lighting of the Platinum Jubilee beacons.
The Big Jubilee Lunch and the Platinum Jubilee Pageant will commence at the end of the four days of festivities on Sunday (June 5).
On Friday (June 3), there will be a National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, but the Queen won't be attending due to experiencing "some discomfort".
However, she will be present on Saturday (June 4) to attend the Derby at Epsom Downs before the Platinum Party at the Palace.
The SKIMS founder and her comedian beau were photographed in London in the days leading up to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee but their visit to the capital is unexplained. The pair were dressed in casual clothes as they were spotted on dates this week.
