Billionaire MacKenzie Scott has revealed her 2023 charitable donations, having given an enormous $2.2 billion to organizations this year.
Scott, who is the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has become well-known as a philanthropist, having donated several billions to charities over recent years.
The 53-year-old announced the latest beneficiaries for 2023 on her Yield Giving website, revealing that she had given away $2.2 billion across 360 different charitable organizations.
Her lifetime giving total currently stands at almost $16.6 billion over the last few years, and she has an estimated fortune of just under $40 billion according to Forbes.

Scott's breakdown of her most recent donations shows she gave between $600,000 to $25 million to organizations that often have a budget smaller than that, according to Forbes.
She gave donations to organizations supporting early learning, access to affordable housing, race and gender equality, health equity, and civic and social engagement.
Among the charities benefitting from her donations this year are early childhood education nonprofit Zero to Three, career training charity Jobs for the Future, and the San Francisco Community Land Trust which advocates for affordable housing.
She shared a statement announcing the donations, saying: "Excited to call attention to these 360 outstanding organizations, every one of whom could use more allies.
"Grateful to everyone in the extended team who made it possible to give them gifts. Inspired by all the ways people work together to offer each other goodwill and support."
Scott is one of just 11 US billionaires who have given away more than 20% of their wealth to worthy causes and is known for how quickly she is giving away her vast wealth.

She amassed her huge net worth after receiving a 4 percent sake in Amazon in her divorce from Bezos in 2019, and donated one-third of that in less than four years.
Despite the billions she has given away, Scott remains the fourth-richest woman in the world with a fortune of just under $40 billion.
The two-time novelist's way of giving is vastly different to most billionaires, as her no-strings-attached donations are usually made unexpectedly to local charities who have not solicited her help, and she mostly gives donations of less than $10 million.
Many organizations who have benefited from her kindness have said that they initially believed it was a scam when they got the call as the donation came completely out of the blue.
Scott is also one of a small number of philanthropists who do not give through a private foundation, which would mean she had to disclose it through yearly tax filings, and her ex-husband also does the same.
She has also expressed her wishes that the focus around her charitable donations remains on the recipient organizations rather than on her.
Scott launched her Yield Giving website last year where she shares details of the organizations she has donated to, and launched her first 'Open Call' in March, allowing people to submit grant applications for the first time, from which she will give $1 million each to 250 organizations early next year.
