Madame Tussauds has finally unveiled its latest waxwork: Justin Bieber! However, not everybody is convinced...

The popular tourist attraction is known for creating celebrity waxworks with meticulous attention to detail - allowing ordinary people to rub shoulders with the stars.

Now, visitors to Madame Tussauds will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a replica of singer Justin Bieber in honor of the 'Love Yourself' star's 30th birthday.

The statue will be on display at the Madame Tussauds experience in Hollywood Boulevard, with the model being fashioned after Bieber's appearance in the music video for his 2021 hit 'Peaches'. Nestled among the esteemed collection of celebrity waxworks, the life-size replica of the singer comes complete with his iconic white beanie, ombre puffer jacket, and neon-pink pants.

But although the clothing is down to a T - many social media users have raised an eyebrow over the actual likeness to Bieber, with many believing the new model looks more like another famous singer.

After images of the waxwork hit X (formerly Twitter), users shared their opinions, with one person writing: "…that’s Liam Payne."

And many others agreed that the statue does indeed resemble the former One Direction star, with a second tweeting: "This is Liam Payne."

Another name thrown into the mix was Brooklyn Beckham, with one X user writing: "Looks more like Romeo Beckham or Liam Payne than Bieber."

"Ma'am that's Liam Payne," a fourth added, with another jokingly quipping: "Payneful".

After looking at photos, I have to agree and say that the model definitely does resemble Liam's likeness (I think it's the eyes), but overall, it could have been presented as some sort of strange lovechild of the two singers.

Of course, this is not the first time a waxwork has come under fire. Who can forget the time Madame Tussauds debuted their Zendaya figure?

Soon after unveiling the waxwork of the Dune star, people rushed to X to share their thoughts, many of whom agreed that the artwork more resembled Kylie Jenner's appearance.

"This is not Zendaya. This is Zendaya & Kylie Jenner mixed together. Kyldaya," wrote one person.

Another added: "They turned Zendaya into Kylie Jenner at Madame Tussauds London unveil of her wax figure."

While a third wrote: "They made her look like Kylie."

Meanwhile, another person joked: "Why does Zendaya’s wax figure look like a flight attendant."

I guess it really is hard to replicate perfection.
