Megan Fox fans spotted that the actress made light of a comment asking if Machine Gun Kelly cheated before deleting her Instagram account on Sunday.
The Transformers star, 36, made headlines after she appeared to delete every photo of her and Machine Gun Kelly, 32, from her Instagram account, leading fans to believe they had split.
Speculation spiraled further when fans noticed she went from not following any accounts on the platform to just three - Harry Styles, Timothee Chalamet, and her fiancé's rival Eminem.
The mother of three had also shared a cryptic post consisting of selfies of her in a mirror along with a video of her burning an envelope, and the caption: "You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath."
The caption consisted of lyrics taken from Beyoncé's song 'Pray You Catch Me', which was rumored to be about Jay Z's alleged infidelity.
Following all the cryptic moves on Instagram, fans began flooding the comments with speculation on whether the couple had broken up.
One fan commented: "He probably got with Sophie," to which Megan responded: "Maybe I got with Sophie [flame emoji]."
The Sophie in question is Sophie Lloyd who is MGK's guitar player and the only female member of the band. There is no suggestion he - or indeed Megan - was in anything but a professional relationship with her, with other fans pointing out that the guitarist is also believed to be in a relationship with someone else.
Following her light-hearted quashing of the rumor, Megan then decided to deactivate her Instagram account entirely, vanishing from the platform.
MGK - real name Colson Baker - has yet to speak out on rumors the couple has split, or address the situation on social media.
Social media users were also trying to decipher Megan's choice to follow just three accounts before deleting Instagram.
The reasoning behind following Harry and Timothee remains unknown, however Eminem has a direct connection to MGK.
The pair were famously embroiled in a feud that spawned the diss tracks 'Not Alike' from Eminem and 'Rap Devil' from MGK, hitting out at one another.
The bust-up began as far back as 2012 when MGK commented that Em's daughter Hailie - who was 16 at the time - was "hot" which didn't go down well with her dad.
Megan and MGK have been dating since meeting on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass in 2020 after Megan split from her husband Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three sons.
Brian has since also moved on with Dancing With The Stars professional Sharna Burgess and the pair have welcomed a baby son together.
The pair have often raised eyebrows with stunts designed to make headlines, such as licking each other's tongues on the red carpet or just giving people way more details than they ever needed or wanted about their sex life.
Machine Gun Kelly has yet to comment on the rumors and, with her Instagram having been deleted, Megan has had no further say yet either.
