Donald Trump has given a scathing response to the Super Bowl LX half-time show headlined by Bad Bunny.
It would be fair to say he did not enjoy it.
Donald Trump has been against Bad Bunny from the start
Ever since the NFL announced that Bad Bunny would be headlining the Super Bowl LX half-time show, there have been arguments.
Some have complained about the language used in the show, others have said that he should be replaced, and Turning Point USA even held a separate event with Kid Rock in protest.
One of the strongest critics has been the US President Donald Trump.
He even said that he wouldn’t be attending the event, although that wasn’t directly attributed to the choice of Bad Bunny as half-time performer.
Now, after the Puerto Rican superstar delivered a celebrity-filled and action-packed performance, with some added intrigue as well, Trump has given his own verdict on the show.
He’s not pleased with how it went.
Donald Trump flames Bad Bunny on Truth Social
Trump took to his own social media platform Truth Social to rant about the performance.
In a typically sprawling post, he slammed Bad Bunny, the NFL, and - as has become something of an obsession - the new kick-off rule.
Trump ranted: “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!
“It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.
“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.
“This 'Show' is just a 'slap in the face' to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!
“There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule.
“MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
Trump as also given some criticism by opening act Green Day during the Super Bowl, before Charlie Puth was accused of lip-syncing the national anthem.
It’s not been a Super Bowl that has lacked musical controversy, even if the first half of action lacked a lot of on-field excitement.
