As Bad Bunny takes to the stage for his groundbreaking Super Bowl LX half-time show, a lot of people have questions.
It’s fair to say that this year’s show is one of the most talked-about ever.
Bad Bunny’s performance at Super Bowl LX has caused a stir
OK, the Super Bowl half-time show usually draws a lot of attention, but few could have predicted how much attention this one would get.
It’s not quite at Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson levels just yet - although the night is young - but the Puerto-Rican American music superstar has given it a good go.
Even Donald Trump has been weighing in on his selection for the gig, with the President refusing to attend the event.
Turning Point USA has even organized a separate ‘All-American’ event headlined by Kid Rock in protest at the appointment of Bad Bunny.
This is all before he has even taken to the stage - so what happens up there will already draw a lot of heat.
Fans have the same thought about Bad Bunny’s show
However, despite the scandal and controversy, it is possible to forget that Bad Bunny is one of the biggest and most bankable stars in the planet right now. He’s selling out stadiums, shifting millions of records, and is - in many ways - the perfect candidate for this game on a global scale.
But that hasn’t stopped some from being unhappy.
That’s simply because a lot of the songs are going to be in Spanish, not English.
One person wrote: “I tried listening to Bad Bunny this weekend to get me prepped for the half time show.
“Couldn’t understand anything he was saying. Is there going to be a translator on stage with him?
“Should I turn subtitles on in English? Unsure what to do here.”
Another wrote: “Bad bunny songs are very relatable to the American experience. Just gotta turn the subtitles on.”
A third said: “I have a new idea... I will watch the Bad Bunny halftime show IF..... @NFL puts English subtitles on the screen.
“I just really want my 5 and 7 year olds to fully understand everything he is saying.”
Another comment reads: “There are many who’ve said they’re out on the Bad Bunny halftime show because it’s so difficult to enjoy it when you can’t understand the lyrics.
“What if subtitles were provided, wouldn’t that fix that part of anybody’s opinion on this?”
Well, that solution obviously wouldn’t make everyone happy, but it would certainly mean that the message got across more clearly.
