For fans of One Direction - undoubtedly one of the most successful and popular boy bands of all time - it's been tough moving on after the lads decided to part ways back in 2015.
The split was said to be a 'hiatus' which could give Niall, Harry, Liam, and Louis the chance to focus on their solo work - especially following bandmate Zayn's initial departure earlier in 2015. But the longer we've gone with no more news, the more it seems as though the split could be permanent.
However, in what must come as welcome news to all 1D fans throughout the world Louis Tomlinson has confirmed that the band One Direction will be reuniting soon.
Louis Tomlinson Teases One Direction Reunion:In a recent appearance on The One Show to promote his new solo album, Tomlinson opened up about the possibility of getting the band back together, admitting that they would be "stupid" not to give fans what they want.
Louis stated: "I think [a reunion will] happen at some point, we’d be stupid not to. I think we’re kind of exploring and enjoying ourselves individually. We’ve been on a break four years, I’m only just getting round to releasing my first album."
He continued: "Fans who follow our every move every day probably feel we’ve not been a group for a while, but to us we’re… I know I am just finding my feet really. I wasn’t ready, to be honest. I had an idea we might have a small break because we’d done a lot of work in a small amount of time."
However, a reunion is dependant on the feelings of the other three members, who haven't always been on the best of terms during the hiatus. For example, last year Harry Styles totally roasted Zayn Malik during a monologue he performed while guest-hosting Saturday Night Live.
