It's fair to say that the last year has been a total rollercoaster for fans of Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus.

The couple first hooked up while filming the musical rom-com The Last Song in 2009, and were on-again-off-again for several years before getting married in a private ceremony this time last year.

But after being married for just eight months, Miley and Liam decided to divorce, and it was then reported that Miley was seen kissing her friend Kaitlynn Carter while vacationing in Italy.

The Australian actor wrote in an Instagram post: "Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. [sic]"

He added: "This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love [sic]."

But it seems as though Miley is still thinking about her old relationship. This week she paid tribute to her ex-husband on Instagram in a review of the last decade shared on social media.

Miley dropped a 10-minute entitled 'Miley Cyrus Decade Video: 10 Years in 10 Minutes', in which she chronicled the highs and lows of the last decade, including her relationship with Liam.

In the video, Liam is first seen during a clip from The Last Song, as well in footage of the couple's engagement, and a clip of a news report showing their breakup back in 2013. At the end of the video, Miley even shared a picture from their wedding, as well as a news report about their final separation and divorce.

However, Miley hasn't always been so sentimental about the relationship: and recently poked fun at her marriage when replying to a fan's Instagram comment.
