Naomi Campbell has welcomed her second child, sharing the surprise news with her followers this week.
Campbell, 53, shocked her Instagram followers back in May 2021 when she revealed that she had welcomed her first child, where she posted a secretive photo of herself cradling her newborn's feet.
Captioning the post, she wrote: "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."
The model has kept her daughter out of the spotlight, as even two years on she is yet to reveal her name, and images of her are very scarce.
But fans of Campbell and her family can rejoice, as she has announced that she has welcomed a new member to her family!
Taking to Instagram, the 53-year-old shared an image of her newborn baby being cradled, but ensuring that the face is covered.
Captioning the post, Campbell wrote: "My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A True Gift from God, blessed! Welcome Babyboy."
She finished her post with a heartwarming statement: "It’s never too late to become a mother."
A source explained to the Daily Mail how happy Campbell was about her new arrival: "Naomi is a really strong woman. This is what she has always wanted. She is so very happy.
"She is so excited to give her little girl a brother. She is looking forward to the years ahead with so much pride."
During an interview with Vogue in March 2022, Campbell opened up about her experience with motherhood, stating that she likes to travel with her baby.
"I'm lucky my little one loves to travel like me – no whimpering taking off or landing," she said. "She's a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I'm told she's very alert for her age.
"She's just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She's almost talking. I think she might walk before she crawls. And she's got six teeth already."
The star revealed that she kept the news she was expecting her first baby secret, much like her second: "I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her," Campbell said, adding: "But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Campbell was spotted just last week with what appeared to be a baby bump, though according to TMZ, it remains unclear whether she carried the pregnancy or used a surrogate.
