North West is taking a leaf out of her parents' lookbook.
The nine-year-old fashionista stepped out in Paris on Saturday wearing a distinctive accessory first popularized by her parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Alongside a distressed black t-shirt and croc-style platform shoes, the fourth-grader donned a black leather face mask as she accompanied her 41-year-old mom to Paris Fashion Week.
North is far from being the first member of her famous family to style a black head covering. Skims founder Kim famously wore a head-to-toe black covering by Balenciaga to the 2021 Met Gala.

Meanwhile, rapper Kanye, 45, has often been seen out and about in a full face mask, often underneath the hood of a hoodie.
Despite both Kim and Kanye having considerable fashion credentials under their belt, not everyone was a fan of the fact that they had put their nine-year-old in such a dark look.
Many people took to Twitter to blast the outfit, accusing North's parents of stealing her childhood and potentially giving her trauma later in life.

"This makes me so sad. All this child will know is to act out for the paparazzi," one person tweeted, while another commented: "Let her be a kid..."
"She'll be scarred for life," a third wrote, with a fourth agreeing: "These parents are going to F*** up her mental state!"
Another Twitter user was so enraged by the look that they accused Kim and Kanye of "exploiting" North for publicity - and said that the mask was "borderline child abuse."
"No kid on this planet is gonna look at that hideous face covering [and] wanna wear it. This is stupid parents exploiting their kids," they wrote, adding: "This is ridiculous. Borderline child abuse. Leather face masks are not for kids they are for sex dungeons."
However, not everyone hated the look. Some people were in favor of North's avant garde fashion choices.
"North, already iconic," they tweeted alongside a snap of the look.
