The lead singer of the band Paramore has a stern warning for those who want to vote for Ron DeSantis.

Taking to the stage at a recent show in New Jersey, the 'Still Into You' singer took a swipe at the Republican Florida Governor by telling those in attendance that she will not accept anyone voting for him at the upcoming Presidential Election, which is set to take place next year.

"I'll be happy to tell you I'm very f****** comfortable talking politics," Williams said in a fan-recorded video that quickly went viral online. "And if you vote for Ron DeSantis, you're f****** dead to me."

The star doubled down, also adding: "So, is that comfortable enough for anyone?"

You may have recently heard that DeSantis has made some pretty controversial,  comments which have now ended up being policies that he'd like to enact once he becomes president.

According to his official website, he has set his sights on leading the nation to a "Great American Comeback," adding that the "country is going in the wrong direction. We see it with our eyes and we feel it in our bones."

The Republican also slammed the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, stating that he "has allowed woke ideology to drive his agenda."

"We will never surrender to the woke mob and we will leave woke ideology in the dustbin of history," his pledge reads.

DeSantis also suggested that he wants to make the country into a wider Florida.

Like most Republican leaders, the 44-year-old has swiftly positioned himself on the "anti-woke" bandwagon signing laws that ban discussion of LGBTQ+ issues in public schools, prohibit abortion after six weeks, and restrict transgender healthcare for minors as per Teen Vogue.

The announcement of his policies has led to a global condemnation of the Florida native from celebrity figures like Williams as well as other fellow musicians.

Last year, Phoebe Bridgers led a chant of 'f*** DeSantis' during a 2022 show in Tampa, urging the crowd to "say 'gay.'"

The Paramore frontwoman also critisized bills in her home state of Tennessee which targeted transgender children, which restricted them from receiving gender-affirming care.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the singer wrote: "Once again our state has passed two regressive and unfathomably harmful bills."

She continued: "We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ family and local LGBTQIA+ orgs in this fight, not only for inclusion for our friends and family in the queer community, but for radical acceptance and empowerment for each of them.

"Drag is not a crime," she added. "Gender-affirming healthcare for all, including our youth, is a necessity."
