Pedro Pascal, everyone's favorite actor, has explained why he always appears to pose with his hand on his torso.

Pedro is hot property right now following his outstanding performances in HBO's The Last of Us and Disney's The Mandalorian, where he proved his incredible versatility as an actor.

The 49-year-old has taken the internet by storm recently, as a new trend of referring to him as "Daddy Pedro" swept through TikTok - it's silly but understandable.

The Chilean-born actor continues to be a heartthrob for many across the world and his recent comments on his iconic pose - where he is often seen with his hand on his torso - are incredibly heartwarming.

Last year, Pedro attended a "For Your Consideration" event in Los Angeles alongside Last of Us co-star Bella Ramsey where he did his usual pose of placing a hand on his abdomen.

When Bella - who is non-binary and uses both she/her and they/them pronouns - noticed that Pedro had done this, they placed their hand across their stomach and the pair smiled together - clearly signifying a strong bond that has grown between them.

As seen in a video by Deadline, Pedro turned to his costar and asked if Ramsey knows why he poses with his hand there, before going on to explain: "It’s because my anxiety is right here."

Bella subtly put their head on his chest after this revelation as the pair continued to pose for photos. Absolutely adorable.

Pedro was also seen  Met Gala earlier this week where he was seen striking his familiar pose, all while wearing a set of shorts that really got the internet talking. (More recently, he's been sporting an arm brace, meaning his arm it permanently across his torso.)

The actor hit the red carpet with a bold red look featuring a double wool oversized coat with scarf, red poplin oversized shirt, black wool shorts, black silk faille tie, and black socks with combat boots. He then completed his look with several gold rings and a slicked back 'do.

Ever since the first season of The Last of Us concluded there has been a glaring Pedro Pascal-shaped hole in most of our lives, which was filled by the third season of The Mandalorian but that has also now come to a conclusion.

Fortunately, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Pascal has been cast as the iconic Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards in the upcoming 2025 MCU movie Fantastic Four.
