Abby and Brittany Hensel have sent a message to their "haters" following news of the former's wedding.

The reality TV twins - who spent much of the first two decades of their lives in the public eye - recently made headlines after it was revealed that Abby had married her long-time boyfriend, Josh Bowling.

For anybody who may be unaware of the famous sisters, they have been the stars of several documentaries and TV interviews due to the fact that they are dicephalus conjoined twins who were born fused at the torso.

Their incredibly rare condition has left the sisters sharing one body, with two sets of lungs, two hearts, two stomachs, one liver, one large intestine, and one reproductive system. From a young age, they learned to coordinate their body - with Abby controlling the right side and Brittany controlling the left.

The sisters have always been open about answering questions about their unique situation - even appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show at just six years old back in 1996:

But despite public interest, the sisters have managed to go on to live relatively normal lives.

This includes going to school, learning how to drive, and becoming fifth-grade teachers. Now it has been revealed that Abby is happily married to the love of her life, Josh.

Images on their Facebook page show 34-year-old Abby and Brittany wearing a beautiful white wedding gown, while Josh kept it classic in a handsome grey suit. The sisters also shared several images on their TikTok page.

But after making headlines, sadly it seems that social media trolls have been out in full force -- but the sisters have swiftly hit back with a message for their "haters".

In a video shared to their TikTok account on Friday (March 29), they shared a video simply captioned: "#forever". Check it out below:

The video showed an image of the sisters posing with Josh, with the audio saying: "This is a message to all the haters out there. If you don’t like what I do, but watch everything I’m doing, you’re still a fan."

In the comments of the video, the twins have been flooded with praise, with one person writing: "Sorry you’re dealing with this line of questioning. It’s incredibly invasive and nobody’s business."

A second fan added: "To everyone demanding questions and answers. They truly don’t owe you anything. Let them live and be happy. Congrats!"

And a third supporter wrote: "You don't need to explain anything. Live your best life!"

In another TikTok post, the sisters shared a video of various artifacts depicting dicephalus conjoined twins like themselves.

They captioned the post: "The internet is extra LOUD today. We have always been around."

Not too much is known about Abby's husband, as the couple prefers to stay out of the public eye these days. However, according to his X bio, he describes himself as a: "Christian, Father, Husband, Veteran, and occasional gamer. From Army medic, to Nurse."

When the sisters were born in 1990, their parents - Patty and Mike Hensel - were given a choice to surgically separate them. However, due to the unique nature of their shared body, the parents opted against any procedure - deeming it far too risky after doctors expressed little hope that either sister would survive an operation.

You've got to admire the twins' attitude in the face of adversity. Let's hope all their haters get the message and leave them alone from now on.
