Rihanna has hit back after a fan criticized her choice of words when describing her son after revealing his face in a Vogue photoshoot.
The singer, 34, is currently pregnant with her second child, having revealed the happy news during her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.
The 'Diamonds' star performed with a troupe of dancers in white puffer jackets while she wore red and caressed her growing bump.
Following the performance, her representative confirmed fans' speculation that she was indeed pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky.
While fans are still being left waiting for new music, Rih did drop another little surprise for them by revealing the first photos of her nine-month-old son in a photoshoot with British Vogue.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky posed with their son - whose name is yet to be revealed - in a series of stunning snaps, including a cover shot of the singer confidently striding down a beach while her boyfriend plants a sweet kiss on their son's head.
Other shots saw the couple in a loving embrace, as well as Rih posing with the baby boy on a red satin bed, as fans got their first close-ups of his face.
She captioned one of the pictures: "my perfect baby!!!", but the one that got people talking was a caption which read: "my son so fine! Idc idc idc!"
Rihanna added: "How crazy both of my babies were in these photos and mommy had no clue. thank you so much @edward_enninful and @inezandvinoodh for celebrating us as a family!"
Some fans took to the comments to question why she had chosen to describe her son as "fine", commenting: "Your son is WHAT?"
Others added: "Who calls their child fine…" and "Please dont be callig babies "fine"... idgaf if its your own (sic)".
One commented: "riri ik u did not just say “fine” ..", to which the singer doubled down and confirmed: "af".
She also responded to another fan who wrote: "Who calls a baby fine?", to which she replied: "His mother!!!", and clapped back when another claimed was referring to her toddler as a "grown man" by joking: "You just keep your lil cougar paws away from him and we good!"
You tell 'em, Rih!
Rihanna and A$AP welcomed their son in May 2022, and the Fenty founder revealed that the pregnancy came as a surprise.
She told Vogue in April 2022: "I wouldn’t say [we were] planning [to start a family], but certainly not planning against it. I don’t know when I ovulate or any of that type of s**t. We just had fun. And then it was just there on the test."
The couple confirmed their relationship in 2021 when the rapper described Rihanna as the "love of [his] life" in an interview, but are believed to have been dating for a long time beforehand.
A source told UsWeekly at the time: "They’re not necessarily hiding the fact that they’re dating — they more so just don’t want people in their business. They’re two chill people that don’t want that kind of attention, so they show up randomly to a spot and nobody really knows until afterward."
