The leading cast of 'And Just Like That...' have broken their silence over the multiple sexual assault allegations against Sex And The City star Chris Noth.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon expressed their support for the victims accusing Noth of sexual assault in an official statement shared on social media.
"We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences," the three said in a joint statement. "We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."
Three women have come forward accusing the 67-year-old of sexual assault in recent weeks.
In a report published by The Daily Beast on Friday, December 17, a woman who wished to remain anonymous but used the pseudonym, Ava, told the outlet that the actor, 67, had sexually assaulted her while working at a New York City restaurant in 2010. According to the outlet, she was 18 years old at the time.
The actor denied the woman's account, calling it a "piece of bad fiction".
"The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction," a rep for Noth told People. "As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line."
Last week, an article published by The Hollywood Reporter saw two women accuse the actor of sexual assault.
The article describes the accusations by two women, who chose to be identified by pseudonyms, that Noth sexually assaulted them in separate incidents - one in 2004 and another in 2015.
In a statement to the publication, the actor denied he assaulted the women.
"The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross," Noth said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
"The encounters were consensual. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women," he added.
After news of the allegations came to light, Noth was dropped from CBS's hit show The Equalizer.
CBS follows hot on the heels of his talent agency, A3 Artists, who also decided to part ways with Noth.
Peloton was the first to pull the plug on its new ad starring the actor. The exercise equipment company created the commercial promoting the Peloton bike following the pilot episode of And Just Like That, the Sex and the City reboot.
