Savannah Chrisley has revealed that she is struggling to adjust to her new life after her parents were sent to federal prison.

The 25-year-old reality TV star's parents, Todd and Julie Chriley, reported to their prison locations on January 17 after being convicted of federal tax fraud, a representative confirmed to E! News.

The publication noted that the 53-year-old was sent to Federal Correctional Institution (FPI) Pensacola in Florida for 12 years while his 50-year-old wife was sent to Federal Medical Center Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky for seven years.

Now, their daughter has opened up on her Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast about how she is dealing with her "life falling apart" following her parents' conviction for multiple charges, including bank fraud and tax evasion.

In the latest episode - which was uploaded on Tuesday (January 24) - Savannah said: "Last week was an extremely difficult week for my family as a whole and for each of us individually.

"We kind of had to say goodbye to my parents for somewhat, you know, for a little bit of time, for the foreseeable future, and that was really, really, really tough," she added.

However, in the introduction - which was recorded after the interview - the Sassy by Savannah founder disclosed that she had not "filmed a podcast" since her most recent interview on January 12, which was her mother's 50th birthday.

"The podcast that is going to be airing today that you're watching was filmed prior to my life falling apart, so it may seem happy-go-lucky," she continued. "I think it's because there was a lot of hope that was had and I wasn't faced with the reality of the situation."

"So I just kind of wanted to throw this in there to address that because I know a lot of people are gonna be like, 'Whoa, what is this?' And this was kind of pre-life falling apart," she explained. "And now podcasts that I do going forward will be post. So I hope that kind of helps you understand things."

Savannah said that the future episodes would reflect her new normal after the Chrisley Knows Best stars are behind bars as well as speaking to the "kiddos" - referring to 16-year-old brother Grayson and 10-year-old niece Chloe.

She also added that she will give an update on her parents in the next episode of her podcast because she's "seen God work in the craziest of circumstances".

Savannah has stuck by her parents - who are also sentenced to 16 months probation - as they continue to maintain their innocence and plan to appeal their sentences, as stated by Today.

Just last week, she took to her Instagram Stories to announce that she promises to "forever fight" for her mother under a photo of her smiling, per Page Six.

She has also revealed that she will now be taking custody of her teenage brother and her niece - the daughter of Kylie Chrisley and Angela Johnson - due to her parents' prolonged terms.

According to TMZ, Johnson said that she has yet to file any official paperwork but has been speaking with attorneys about getting her daughter back.
