Mike Tyson has shared a relieving health update following a "medical emergency" that left fans concerned.

On Monday (May 27), it was reported that the 57-year-old boxer had fallen unwell during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles and required medical attention.

Paramedics were called and boarded the plane after the flight landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

A witness to the incident told In Touch: "Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded. Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor — the message even came on everyone’s screens.

A representative for the former champ later stated that Tyson had become "nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing".

Now, Tyson has confirmed that he is back to full strength (and even took a shot at upcoming opponent Jake Paul in the process).

In a post shared to his official X page, Tyson wrote: "Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul."

Fans were overjoyed at the news, with one person writing: "We all know that Mike. You will beat the ghost out of that punk!"

A second added: "Glad you're alright!"

However, given the medical scare and Tyson being 30 years older than Paul, others offered words of caution to the prizefighter.

"Mr. Tyson please take care of yourself," one fan tweeted. "There are people who look up to you with gratitude and fondness. Whether you fight or not you will always be a champion on so many levels."

A second concerned fan added: "Dont fight Mike you've got nothing to prove [sic]".

The startling news comes just weeks before the 57-year-old Tyson is set to come out of retirement for a professional fight against influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul - who is 30 years his junior.

Their highly anticipated fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, July 20.

Earlier this month, Tyson appeared a press conference for the upcoming bout, and told reporters: "Once [Paul is] in that ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it, because it will be."

One thing's for sure, this fight is going to be a must-see.
