The Haunting of Hill House was one of the greatest hits on Netflix in 2018, and now it's long-awaited second season is about to drop.
Dubbed The Haunting of Bly Manor, the much-anticipated horror series will be released on October 7, so just in time for Halloween 2020.
According to reports, the series is loosely based on the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, and although it is being billed as the second series of The Haunting of Hill House, its storylines will be completely different (think American Horror Story).

Now, if that doesn't send a shiver down your spine, we don't know what will.
The Haunting of Bly Manor's synopsis reads: "The story tells of a young governess hired by a man to look after his niece and nephew at the family country house after they fall into his care. Arriving at the Bly estate, she begins to see apparitions that proceed to haunt the premises."
Showrunner Mike Flanagan said that three separate storylines will playout throughout the series, including one about a man who takes on the care of two orphaned children after moving to the English countryside.

The series is six episodes long and it will star Victoria Pedettri, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, T’Nia Miller, Catherine Parker, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith, Amelia Eve, and Tahirah Sharif.
This comes after Netflix announced earlier this month that the series will be released this fall.
The new series will be dropping on Netflix on October 7, but if you're desperate to get your fix, every episode of The Haunting of Hill House is already available to watch on the streaming service.
And if you're wondering what characters will be returning from season one, this is the full list.
