As a parent, there are some things that you should do and some things that you most definitely shouldn't. It's commonly regarded that dads are, shall we say, a little more lax when it comes to looking after their children compared to their female counterparts. Just one quick sweep of the internet and you will be inundated with stories of dads doing stupid things with their kids - with a lot of them being pretty dangerous.

However, in terms of where this particular story would rank, well, it would most likely be top.

Mohd Redha Rozlan is a father who seemingly likes to take risks around his children and, as such, decided to do a bungee jump while holding his young daughter.

Of course, the clip of the stunt has led a wave of criticism aimed at the father, who claims that his daughter had asked him if she could be a part of the jump.

Responding to criticism on social media, Rozlan said: "Chill guys, Mecca Mikaela was the one who wanted to do the jump with me. There was no forcing.

"She enjoyed her first jump and requested to do it again, but I was afraid."

Rozlan says that his daughter was wearing a harness (which isn't visible in the clip) and Mecca doesn't appear to cry out while her father performs the stunt.

While the incident is said to have happened without any accidents, Rozlan could find himself in trouble with the police.

Human rights lawyer Andrew Khoo told the news outlet: "Yes, action can be taken under the Child Act. This clearly breached safety requirements, too."

A child rights lawyer, Goh Siu Lin, added: "Rope spring jump is an extreme sport and dangerous, and there is a high likelihood of the motions in such an activity causing physical injury to her.

"I have never heard of any child of that age being allowed to participate in such extreme sports."

While the stunt ended up with no injuries, it still seems like a pretty reckless thing to do while attached to a young child.
