A delivery driver in the US has amassed thousands of followers on social media after recording himself confronting customers who do not tip.
Tipping culture in the United States has long been a contentious subject - with some people frustrated that they have to fork over an extra 15% when paying for their meals, and others happily supporting those who work in the service industry.
However, no matter how much people in the service industry rely on tips to supplement their income, it's not like they can confront those who choose not to tip... right?
Well, one delivery driver has amassed thousands of followers and hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok after sharing footage of him confronting customers who use services like DoorDash and do not tip.
Known by his handle @dashingtrader, the delivery driver has shared multiple videos of customers he dubs "non tippers", in an effort to encourage other delivery drivers how to make the most from their shifts.
One of @dashingtrader's compilations can be seen below:In the video above, @dashingtrader can be seen confronting multiple customers, telling them: "Have you ever heard of 'no tip, no trip?'"
Elsewhere in his videos, he explains that "non-tipper orders sit for longer" - meaning that some delivery drivers will deliberately prioritize tipping customers' orders, while the non-tippers' orders are left to sit and get cold.
In other videos, @dashingtrader explains that the minimum suggested tips displayed on the apps simply do not make up for the cold weather conditions many drivers are facing throughout the US.
In the post above, @dashingtrader then brazenly tells one female customer that some delivery drivers will even eat the food within a non-tipper's order. "The orders that don't have tips on them, those are the orders we eat when we're hungry and we want free food," he tells the customer, who can be seen standing at their front door.
However, despite @dashingtrader's intentions to shame non tippers and promote the benefits of tipping for drivers, many of his videos have received comments criticizing his methods.
"Have you ever heard if you don’t like the job don’t work there. Tip should only be four a great experience from customer service," one TikTok user wrote.
Another person argued: "I never tip and I always get my food. I am paying a delivery fee."
And a third wrote: "Use to do DoorDash, it’s a part of the job. You risk not getting tips, or risk getting low tips. Nobody is entitled to tip anyone."
In fact, some TikTok users even tagged DoorDash and other delivery services in an effort to make the companies away of @dashingtrader's posts.

Then, in a post shared on Friday, January 13, @dashingtrader shared a screenshot of a message he had received from DoorDash informing him that his delivery account had been deactivated after it was deemed that he had violated the company's Deactivation Policy.
However, @dashingtrader later revealed in a comment that he had simply set up another account to start delivering again:

What do you think of @dashingtrader's methods, and do you think all orders should come with a tip? Let us know in the comments.
