It would seem that no matter how many videos circulate of the King's Guard shouting at tourists, people still don't learn their lesson.

The King's Guard has become somewhat of a tourist attraction, as was the Queen's Guard when Queen Elizabeth II was on the throne before she sadly passed away.

The soldiers are tasked with guarding royal buildings such as Buckingham Palace, even when royalty isn't at home, so you'll find them dotted across sites all across the country.

Though one thing that seems to get lost in translation is that these are highly trained military personnel with a very important job to do, and they aren't there simply for a photo opportunity.

Despite this, people flock to London in their millions to see the royal palaces, and some tourists get a bit too up close and personal and they get a pretty terrifying surprise.

In a viral video circulating on TikTok, an unsuspecting tourist stands next to a member of the King's Guard for a photo, but after apparently touching him, she ends up fleeing.

Without any hesitation, the guard turns and screams in her face, clearly instructing her: "Do not touch the King's Life Guard!"

Seeing her life flash before her eyes, the young woman runs back to her group looking incredibly shocked at what had just happened, and it remains unclear whether she actually got her photo.

As is customary, people flocked to the comments section to offer their views on the incident, and many were on the side of the King's Guard.

"He’s not a show attraction he’s there to guard the king. Got a job to do," one person penned, with a second adding: "I wish people would leave the guards alone! Its [sic] not a joke this is their job which they take very seriously."

Though some are confused as to why the guard had to react in the manner that he did, and why he couldn't politely tell her to move back a little bit.

"He’s so impolite and dramatic," one comment read, with another saying: "Why does he have to yell like that though. Relax guy."

In fairness, if you go to London to experience the royal pageantry, you've got to accept everything that comes with it as well.

Let this be a warning to others, don't touch the King's Guard!
