Bride reads out fiancé's affair texts instead of their vows at wedding in 'ultimate revenge'

A bride-to-be exposed her fiancé’s affair during her wedding by reading his explicit text messages instead of exchanging vows.

The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, found out her partner had been cheating on her just hours before they were due to get married.

In an interview with Body and Soul, she shared that she discovered this after receiving an anonymous message while staying at a hotel with friends the night before the big day.

The affair had reportedly been going on for months

The heartbroken woman explained to the publication that she initially believed the notification was another congratulatory text ahead of the wedding. Instead, it completely changed the course of her life.

The text included screenshots of conversations between her fiancé and another woman, alongside the chilling line: "I wouldn't marry him. Will you?"

As she scrolled through the messages, which allegedly showed the affair had been happening for months, she saw selfies of the pair together, as well as a string of graphic messages exchanged between them.

One read: "This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game."

Another said: "Your body is f***ing incredible. And sh** do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do."

She also claimed the texts revealed plans for a secret trip together, while her husband-to-be allegedly admitted he had "never had this kind of connection before" with the other woman.

Friends urged her to cancel the wedding

After breaking down in tears, the woman showed the messages to her friends, who encouraged her to call off the wedding immediately and confront her fiancé. But instead of cancelling, she came up with a different plan.

She decided she would still walk down the aisle and expose him publicly in front of family and friends.

"I walked down the aisle with leaden feet, my dream dress now just a costume. As he saw my face, he knew this was not an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming," she recalled.

"I arrived at the front of the room, took a big breath, and I faced our friends, our parents, and I told them the truth about Alex," she added.

The bride told guests: 'There will be no wedding today'

Guests were reportedly left in shock as the bride announced the ceremony would not go ahead as her fiancé was "not who [she] thought he was".

She then pulled out her phone and began reading every message she had received the night before.

According to her, her husband-to-be sat in silence before eventually storming out of the church.

Despite the dramatic ending, the woman said the day still became a celebration, just not the one she originally planned.

"I love all of you, and as horrible as this is, I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love, and following your heart even when it hurts," she said.

"There was a smattering of awkward applause and a little cheering. What was the correct response to this news? It was certainly not the wedding day I had planned, but to our credit, it was one hell of a party," she concluded.
